Stop Setting Agenda For Buhari, APC Tells Ohanaeze by Katastrofy: 10:45am On Aug 13, 2015
Awka – The All Progressives Congress (APC), in Anambra, has told Ohanaeze Ndigbo, a socio-cultural organisation of Igbo, to stop setting agenda for President Muhammadu Buhari.
This is coming on the heels of a statement credited to former Chairman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Anambra, Dr Chris Eluemunoh asking the President to complete the second Niger Bridge.
This is contained in a statement by the Publicity Secretary of APC in Anambra, Mr Okelo Madukaife in Awka on Wednesday.
The statement described Eluemunoh’s call as sheer ‘busy body.’
“Buhari does not need such reminder from anybody to do the right things for the people of the area.
“Buhari and Ndigbo do not need a selfish call from a hate campaigner working to confront Ndigbo with the Federal Government.
“They can do without those trying to drive a wedge for themselves in the guise of Ohanaeze activists.
“It’s the dream of Buhari government and all visionary persons in the South East, including every member of APC in the geopolitical zone, to see the completion of the second River Niger bridge.
“It is this project that many try to isolate and hype as second Niger Bridge and position it as a signature project for Ndigbo.’’
The statement said “many politicians, particularly of the PDP stock, who enjoy the unflinching loyalty of Eluemuno, have taken this advantage to exploit Ndigbo.
“The exploitation cuts across government but got to a height under the Goodluck Jonathan administration’’, he added.
it accused Madukaife of a recent hate campaign to drive a wedge between Ndigbo and the Presidency under Buhari.
“We, therefore, remind Eluemunoh whose partisanship has never been hidden, that Buhari does not need any reminders to do the needful on the completion of the bridge’’, it said.

Have they started the second Niger bridge that he is talking about completing it?
No be sand them go pour for site before elections?
The bridge is only complete on 3D.
I know Buhari will shock a lot of people with his brilliant performance in the SE at the end of the day.

IF GOODLUCK JONATHAN FROM THE THE SOUTH SOUTH COULD NOT COMPLETE THE NIGER BRIDGE WHICH WAS HIS MAIN PROMISE TO THE SOUTH EAST DURING THE 2011 CAMPAIGN. HE EVEN SAID THAT HE WILL GO INTO EXILE IF HE FAIL TO COMPLETE THE BRIDGE. PLUS THE FACT THE JONATHAN COULD NT COMPLETE THE ONLY PROPOSED INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN THE SOUTH EAST. JONATHAN EVEN FAILED TO HELP THE PEOPLE THAT CONTRIBUTED OVER 7 MILLION FOR HIM TO BE PRESIDENT IN 2011. I DOUBT IF PMB THE MAN THAT COULD NT GET 1,000,000 VOTES 4RM THE SAME REGION COULD DO BETTER. WE THE IGBO'S CANNOT EAT OUR CAKE AND STILL HAVE IT.

It is the era of name and shame grin
Thank you APC,Anambra for exposing those Igbo leaders whose stock in trade during Jonathan's reign was to fan the embers of ethnic division. They want to make it sound as if they were the ones who told PMB to do it.These nonsense people were using this bridge to campaign for GEJ when every Nigerian knows that they and Jonathan were a SCAM.
