So mani options available:

Within Lagos, boat cruise to an island. Ilashe, ibeshe or takwa ba
Spend the first night in a sea side hotel or resort
Go for a massage too and take time out for fun: go ride a kart or some paint ball action. Other options in Lagos: Badagri, Lekki conservation etc.

Ogun state: Olumo rock, lodge in a nice hotel at the gra and visit the cultural centre and stadium at night. U can watch a movie too. Dont miss ofada rice or lafun. Theres the Omo Forest Reserve where u can see an elephant

Ibadan: Agodi parks, Mapo hall or visit the auspended lake at iseuin
Dont miss a plate of amala.
Dont miss the old national park. Before ilorin. W

Osun state: Erin Ijesha water falls. Osun osogbo site etc. Zenababs resort in ilesha or Mic com Golf Resort in Ada.

Idanre hills in Ondo also nice and cool

Edo: Okomu wildlife park. Nice
Delta: Abraka resort and explore Asaba

And i can plan a vacation for u. Thats what i do.

Stay out of Ife for now they are currently seeking outsiders to escort to Oni to the great beyond.

I am more interested in the Old Oyo national park is is huge.

The problem is we feel safer in familiar environment where locals speak same language but it is not always the case it is safer outside major cities.

The less beaten path yields more rewards. I loved going to Aivoji beach Badagry but have to go through all the customs checkpoint harassment makes it very unattractive.

Try talking to the locals on your way they will give you the best places to eat.
