Mathematics is considered to be the most important subject in all forms of Learning and Science; Not English. This is because Mathematics deals with the logic of quantity; shape and arrangement. Effective governmental oversight is also credited as the key to successful governance whether you are operating a Capitalist or Socialist System of Government or you are operating a Mixture of both (Most Common today). Mathematics plus Governmental Oversight is equal Accountability, Responsibility and Growth; without which even the best intentions are lost in the quagmire of irresponsibility, undependability and impunity. Some will say that all societies are corruption; YES; but where there is accountability, corruption is managed and systemic compromise is limited; Government is largely respected and the Rule of Law is almost always sacrosanct.

In a State like Nigeria were Corruption has destroyed the fibre of not only governance, but the society at large; a process must be established before policies are formulated and implemented. No policy can and will be effective when accountability is impossible. Every Woman with a large fibroid will not be able to give birth no matter the number of times she conceives. But once the fibroid is successfully operated, removed and the necessary healing process is effectively managed, then you can expect child birth. Corruption, Impunity and Public fund Embezzlement are cancerous and endemic in the Nigeria State today. In deciding to fight corruption with all of the official and unofficial government resources, PMB is sure to achieve success in governance and accountability will return to the processes of government. Corruption is hitting every aspect of the Nigerian Economy and without managing it; we as a country will never grow, no matter how well the intentions are. It is taking 10% annually from our expected GDP; It is denying the Nigeria Government well over $50billion Revenue annually; Corruption is resulting in the abandonment of 60% of all government awarded contracts; It has depreciated our currency by well over 50% in the past year alone; It is ravaging the thought process of our youths; It is eroding the morality of our religious institutions and it is destroying the opportunities that should drive the Nigeria Economy across all sectors.

PMB’s actions so far are exactly what Nigeria needs to kick-start the Nigeria State; if the CBN is found wanting in Price Stability, Real Investment will never flow into the Nigerian Economy. Stock Market Investors are the worst kinds of investors you can ever wish for in any country. Hot Money or Speculators add no value to any economy; they account for 70% of capital flight when they are most needed and they are always working towards devaluation to earn quick money at the detriment of the Economy; They are anti-development. What the FG/CBN is doing with the control of the currency environment and process is exactly what every developing economy does; to protect local content growth and stabilize the purchasing power of the populace. The Limitation on Importation is fantastic; I would ask that once the currency stabilizes, import ban and increase tariffs should be instituted and introduced. What Nigeria can produce should never be imported no matter the Hardship.

Once the FG succeed with curbing Corruption in the key government agencies of NNPC, NPA, FIRS; Customs; Finance; BPE; etc. Several good things will begin to happen and we are already seeing the effects. In the times of dwindling Crude Oil Revenue; The External Reserves is increasing; The Excess Crude Account is also increasing; The FAAC Allocation has been on the increase. With the Treasury Single Account system; PMB has eliminated 5% of Governmental Stealing and Corruption; once the Nigeria Public and Civil Service is properly managed; Politicians will have difficulties in looting our common wealth; once Politicians are no longer in charge of contract awards; accountability will set in. Once looted funds are recovered successfully; the development in infrastructure, manpower and employment will be sustained and well funded.

Let me emphasize again here that if PMB can curb Corruption 50% only; Nigeria will generate 20,000MW of Electricity over the next 4 years; The Nigerian Railways will be Modernized across the Key Geo-political zones; 1.5million Jobs will be created annually over the next four years; Revenue from FAAC to States will increase and stabilize; Insecurity will be managed and peace will largely return to the North East; The NDDC will be engaged in massive development of the Niger Delta Regions; The Amnesty Program will work for the real people it is supposed to serve; The Nigerian Military will become a professional fighting force; Businesses will be happy and the Financial institutions will begin to work for genuine businesses and opportunities. If corruption is the reason we are not able to achieve our full potentials...Why will successfully fighting Corruption not return Nigeria to her rightful place among the committee of Nations? No Economic Policy will drive the Nigerian Economy and Society better than ANTI-CORRUPTION....NONE!!!
