Ekene was hit by a vehicle and was lying unconscious on the tarred road while eye-witnesses took their phones and were taking photos of him on the floor and uploading on the social media.

Kikelomo on her way to the University had an epileptic seizure at the bus stop within the twinkling of an eye, she was surrounded by passers-by who were busy taking photos of her lying helplessly on the ground.

Adamu was a victim of terrorism as he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Instead of getting first aid from first responders, he was inundated with flashes from camera-phones.

My question is, who should we blame?

The government that failed to provide Paramedics at strategic locations...

Or, the camera-phone wielding witnesses...

I won't blame the phone wielding witnesses because those present may not be trained in administering first aid.

Besides they might get themselves into trouble with the police while playing the good Samaritan.
