Can someone please help me understand this. Because I know they have offices across Nigeria and we were told they are responsible for the welfare of all Engineers in this country. So why are they neglecting their responsibilities?

Nigerian Society of Engineers is not responsible for the welfare of all engineers. Being a member of NSE doesn't make you a registered engineer unless you have passed COREN. And it is not compulsory to be a member of NSE since it is just societies of engineers however, there are some benefits of being a member.

NSE is not neglecting her responsibilities, they are responsible for only the registered member of their organisation. If you want to enjoy the benefits of being their member, you will need to register on their website and go for their meeting regularly.

Thanks for saying something but haven't said anything at the same time. If what u say is correct where does it place the student and graduate members?
Besides COREN is only responsible for the regulation of engineering activities in the country.
