A fatal accident(which happened today) involving a Sienna bus with registration number Lagos EPE 05 XP and another Sienna bus with registration number Ekiti ADK 602XB motor along Okene-Kabba road killed many people and severely injured at least 15 people.

  According to an eyewitness,the driver of the Sienna bus with registration number Lagos EPE 05 XP was trying to avoid a pot-hole before it lost control and  rammed into another Sienna bus coming from the Kabba end.

   The bodies of the deceased have been conveyed to a nearby morgue while those who sustained injuries have been taken to the Kabba Specialist Hospital.

May the souls of the deceased RIP,Amen.Our prayers go to the people who sustained injuries

Kogi has always been shuffling between terrible governors since Nigeria started the state system.
Though these roads are federal roads but nothing stops governors from repairing them since they will be re-imbursed by FG.

Kogites might need to burn down Lugard house before something gets done.

Some things need aggression. Even though I advocate peace, Kogi's situation seems an exception.

All the roads in that part of the state are all death traps in disguise.

As in, I see no reason why the federal road can't be double lane?
It would prevent accident a lot, but they won't just consider it.
Maybe Kogites need to burn Lugard house truly.

If it wouldn't be dualized, then it should be wider than it is presently. Those roads are just too narrow and dangerous.
