Then we proceeded to bulama biu drill shed where they make us do it even if it is against our own wish, hehehe we went there for credentials screening which included checking of olevel result, birth certificate, nda post card, acknowledgedment form nd other things the NDA told us to bring, those without one of the required items were not disqualified immediately, The nda gave them opportunity to call their parents if they could send it over to them before the announcement of credentials result. Those who falsified age were disqualified, nd the only birth certificate that was generally accepted was the ones from National population commission or a general government hospital. If you don't have any, declaration of age from the court will be your only option.
Credentials result was announced on Tuesday 26th of June nd immediately the almighty medical started in Nda permanent site Afaka . This was where i killed myself, having heard bouh nda nd the harsh treatment i thought my bp would rise cus of the threats. I started taking garlic to reduce my blood pressure not knowing my bp was normal, my state started with blood nd urine test which was done in the laboratory, they checked for protein level, diabetes, sugar level, cholesterol, hepatitis b nd c, hiv nd other blood issue, then we proceeded to Height, weight nd Bp(where my Bleep up started from), i met all the requirements in all the stages but my bp was too low due to excess garlic, i noticed it when the medic was writing the result it was reading 90/55. They even thought i took drugs because it was too low. Next was Dental examination where they check for teeth arrangement, hole in a tooth or teeth disease, those who have their front teeth extracted were disqualified because they'll not be able to open grenade if they eventually find their selves in the war front from my own understanding though, so the only way is for one to fix a permanent tooth which might cost 200K or a bridge of 50k. After the dental examination comes the eye test, where they check for long sightedness nd short sightedness nd color blindness, those with with serious issue with d eye were disqualified. We couldn't finish all the medical in one day so we went back to nda old site nd reported the next day. That day i was not myself, i couldn't sleep well i cried all through cus nda would disqualify me for having low bp, i looked for salt nd j started taking it, salt contains sodium chloride which increases someone's BP. I am nt a cadet tho (by choice tho).... a fellow ex boy, a Rivers Prince (name withheld) attended afsb 5tyms b4 getting.... a bh candidate nw, Ezra victor is attending afsb 4 d 4th tum, Dis is d 1st tym he is passing medicals (since he is yet 2 call me yet)....


if u reali lik d military u can kip applying... I personally am interested, but would hv 2 go in through SSC( I would b an officer, der is no 2 ways about it)... just don't buy d idea of being a kalito( ex boiz see dem as half baked officers since dey Neva stayed d complete maximum)...

I should also tell u Academy is nt a do or die affair, its always better 2 b der by merit Dan by cheating d system (talking abt medicals).... if u cheat, someday u would b cheated out... its beta nt 2 b a cadet Dan a disgraced 1...

I know officers who after retiring started finding tins difficult, I know officers who Neva got 2 d peak of der carrier (generalship, 80% don't reach it) cos of quota system... der is more 2 d system dan meets d eye...

NDA isn't everything, der are oda fields far beta Dan d military, don't liv ur life make NDA a do or die affair, just saying all Dis 2 encourage does disqualified or didn't make it.. God might hv a better 4 u but u might not know... but if h still insist on NDA, start ahead of tym preparing.. wat is urs would surely b urs...

Anyone who actually goes through it would be more or less an encyclopedia on academy admission processes.
