I personally think it is high time pastors encouraged their members who attend night vigils and who must drive over a long distance from church to always stay back in church, catch some sleep and get enough strength before embarking on long distance journeys.
While, I do not intend to personalise this with any church but I must make mention of a family friend who were recently returning from the Holy Ghost Camp and had an accident resulting in loss of a life and some still in critical state. I was sharing this with a friend who also told me of two different people with similar experience who were returning from the Holy Ghost night to Ife, and one also died.
Nature can not be cheated. Jesus after a long and tiring day would withdraw to a solitary place to rest, and so also he encouraged his disciples in his earthly days. We can not spiritualise what God has already provided a cure for. The cure to regaining strength after a sleepless night vigil is to sleep as soon as possible, and not to start driving from Lagos back to Ibadan/Ife/Benin etc after the programme. Yes, safety is of the Lord whether one catches enough sleep before driving or not, but then we must still "watch" like He urges us.

RCCG members, please help us pass this information to the church leadership.

May we not die before our time and may we not die the death of a fool, amen!
