A lot of shops in the Ikeja area of Lagos were locked today and many streets deserted as people in white were seen walking around the area. The reader who witnessed it and sent in the photos said it's 'Oro'. Don't know what that means.

Are we still going to be seeing acts like this say 50 years from now when everyone is talking about technologies and advancements etc? I'd assume most people would have embraced the new era by then, and those currently immersed in these archaic acts would have grown too old by then. I don't expect some kid today growing up in 50 years from now with a will to do things same old way shown in this pix. Certain acts really need to be declared outdated.
