Created A Maths Board Game...advice Needed by bhmw(m): 11:07pm On Aug 21, 2015 |
Good day nairalanders, I have a maths board game i have been working on since 2013 and got completed in the year 2014 (registered with NCC). I started working on some copies but got stucked at the packaging level because i could not raise enough fund to continue. Currently i teach and can't gather money to continue the publication (i am married). I have written a business plan which i have submitted to someone and he said i should come up with the start up capital required. The last time i called, he is not in the country (don't know when he will come back). I want this game published and bring it to the world...tired of keeping it to myself. Where exactly can i take it to for sponsorship and investment? I have prototypes and the new print outs. Thanks for your words of direction (in advance). |

MONEYMATICS finally out... The game (moneymatics) which combines mathematics and money helps pupils and students increase their love for maths and the time they spend in solving maths questions. The basic version of the board game is currently available. The basic version contains a board, a die and four seeds, paper money, answer booklet and 400 questions (basic 5 and 6 questions). The game will be relevant at homes and in schools. The board game is currently available in Lagos, Nigeria. The author has also written a book (success@maths) that motivates students to overcome their fears for the subject. The concept is simple, if you don’t know maths, you will lose money. The more money a man loses, the poorer he becomes. Moneymatics is a board game that combines money and mathematics. It is designed to help students develop more interest in mathematics. No one want lose their money, in this game every player gain or lose money by answering or failing a question. If the player answers correctly, he gets more money. If otherwise, he loses money. To keep your money, you have to be smart. It also assists the students to develop their thinking skills when required to proffer a solution to a certain challenge and enhances their ability to be composed when under pressure. Students can always do well in mathematics if they are closer to it regularly. This is part of what this board game does.
