TEXT MESSAGE FRAUD IN NIGERIA: The fraudsters are still on the prowl. A customer received this text yesterday “Yello!! You have been awarded 1,000,000 Naira Your Code is TW52, Visit www.yellohunts.com for your Bank Wire Transfer Now” The customer contacted me and forwarded same text to me yesterday . I immediately told him to disregard the text. On further enquiry I visited the site and the site is still very much active. The site requires some vital account information like Account name, account number, ATM no, PIN, card expiry date etc. See the attachment. Please lets advice our unsuspecting customers to disregard such text messages to avoid being defrauded. The site www.yellohunts.com should be reported as the site is still active this morning. Be informed |
