The C and E mean Compulsory and Elective respectively and that's how it's written on my course form!

Like I said earlier, the result I showed you was used for an official purpose and was issued by my school's exams and records unit...you know how much them dey pay for transcript na, so e gats dey arranged well.

On the other hand, the results issued by my department are not in this same format, not necessarily because you don't pay for it, but because it's not an official document.

I don't intend to kill your joy. But unless u Intend to graduate with 2.2 u need to cry about this result. 100level and finals are the best levels to make excellent results.

Yes, it is worth encouraging. Still I don't see the result as a cause for celebration. You need to work harder, and spend less time celebrating on Nairaland. No offence meant, but if you made that kind of result in the school I finished from in your 100L 1st Semester, you would be in serious danger of graduating with 2:2 or worse. So do more, and talk less. All the best.

Am speaking as a fellow lasuite, 400 level computer science.
Your 100 level is seen as the foundation and you should really work hard on your second semester, considering the time we spent during the first semester, i am indeed surprised at the result as i expected better, but i trust you'd aim higher since you are aiming a first class. Someone once said aim for the moon and you'd be sure to land among the stars.A first class now with this result would require that you have nothing less than 4.5's from second semester onwards till you graduate, you might need a 5.0 gp once or twice to actualize that.

na so my brother...I think say maybe I don be old school ni o....at least it is just about 15yrs I finished school.he never reach 15 self.what I saw can only earn him less than 3point.his grade should be around 2.85/2.92.I have not calculated it but from all C's wt a E can never hit 3.0.Anyways the bro can still improve on his performance.
