I don’t have a weight scale onsite, this was sold to me as 25 ton and for N100K. My bricklayer and I are satisfied.

If you don't have a weighing scale on site, there's a method you can use to determine the quantity of aggregate (fine or coarse) supplied to your site. Get the volume of the bucket of the truck that supplied the aggregate to your site and multiply by the bulk density of the corresponding aggregate. To get the volume; measure the length, breadth and depth of the inside of the bucket of the truck EgunMogaji2: 1 Like |

DEXTROVERT:Sir, kindly tell him to quote you according to each size measurements..at the moment, price of materials are very high and not stable..the price u get today might be different tomorrow even some of these material seller increase their prices twice in a day..their reasons are due to shortage of production due to the pandemic.. most of the material sellers are out of stocks while some hoards theirs to sell at higher cost..tell him to quote the sizes accordingly for proper negotiation... The general market (dopemu) is where the major problem fabricators and customers are currently facing is coming from.. 1 Like |

Badgers14: I don't think you understand my point. You're talking about "Cost of doing business" I'm talking about our GDP! I'm talking about Nigeria having the highest number of people living below $1 per day. People you see in Lagos represent only a tiny fraction of Nigerians. Have you been to Zamfara? Gombe? Has your food been snatched by Almajiri boys? Have you seen people die because they can't afford #1,500 malaria drug? Nigeria is not just Lagos and Ogun state o. We are poor in this country!!!! 9 Likes |

EgunMogaji2: Demography matters. Do not base your conclusion on Lagos, Oyo and ogun states. Nigerians, as a country, contains the poorest people on earth.. That 2.1m Camry is most likely a 13 - 15 year old car. Is that what we call rich? How many Nigerians can but brands new cars? How many times have you seen a 2019 or 2020 car in Ibadan? 7 Likes |

kopell: Kopell, I'm not the one that said it.. it's the United Nations na... let's disagree with them but before then, try to visit Gombe, Zamfara, Bauchi, Kano, Borno, Sokoto, parts of Benue, Katsina etc.... Or are they not "Nigerians" And yes they actually line up for food in most of those states I mentioned! 4 Likes |

KolaShangOne:Kola, there is no reason to start this debate with you. People that live that life are talking from experience you wont understand it until you live it. I can easily tell you 99% of people in west buy there car on loan. Let me make this clear to you, they don't own those luxury cars you see them driving, the bank does. Please don't compare Nigeria poverty with other Nations like India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, China, Myanmar, even Brazil, including America. Do you know people line up for food in America too. So don't think Nigeria is the worst place when it comes to poverty. All those nonsense you're reading from United Nations indexes and mostly not adequate with reality in most of those places. If I tell you today that most westerner's especially the Americans working for over 10-15 years may not have $20,000 cash in their savings bank account; all they have is debts and credit that's not being rich but debt rich. And these are the people according to the United Nations index's on income making average income of $50,000 per year. I drop my pen 6 Likes |

kopell: Dude if you get a visa to migrate to reasonable western country please do... The chances of success is higher compared to Nigeria. 1985 they asked Andrew not to checkout that Nigeria go better but unfortunately the country has degraded further since then. Almost all smart Nigerian outside of this country are doing good and are contributing greatly to the economy of this country. Those that are not successful will not be even if you give them Dangote's wealth. If u see visa go join them hustle. 5 Likes |

KolaShangOne: I respectfully disagree with your opinion Sir. For those that may be interested, even in the USA, used vehicles abound. Not everyone in America is driving a 2020/21 vehicle. My last vehicle before I came home was a 2007 Mini Cooper S that I bought around 2015. In my estate of 10 homes, the only person in recent memory that bought a new car was someone that leases a new car every two years. And this is affluent Arcadia, California. 4 Likes |

We’ve been doing this thread now for a minute. Lots of proven and established builders have wowed us with fantastic structures over the years. People like Aventures, Spyder880, Skimanski, RichYoungRuler, Abdulwastecx, Podosci, KolaShangOne, Darenyx and others that I may have forgotten. I don’t recall ever reading them post seeking for business or claiming number one or the best. Combined they must have hundreds of millions in completed projects. Guys, thanks for your humility and letting your work speak for itself. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Sufisunni: Last time I checked, Naija imports most of its consumer products except for food (even this largely imported), infrastructural materials, Healthcare equipment, building materials, electronics, banking services, telecommunications, petrol (lol at this), most are imported. Even many high paying services (finance, IT, oil, etc) imported. Paid in dollar. Not naira. So PPP has an advantage only in very few products and services. Everything can almost be traced down to the dollar because we do import the most basic raw materials. And while the naira is weakening everyday with lower purchasing power, the dollar is gaining strength against it. Mississippi GDP per capita, lowest in the US is 35k or thereabout. Naija GDP per capita 2k or thereabout. The whole of naija economy output is bettered than at least 20 states in America. Apples and oranges but I know which fruit I prefer. 3 Likes |

Nigerians are not poor. We just like to embrace poverty as a way of life. I can still remember a beggar in Challenge Ibadan over 2 decades ago, she has over 4 buildings in the city of Ibadan. Most of these beggars on the roads own the motorcycles and Kekes we see around. It’s like saying those people picking junks/scraps on the streets are poor. They can buy a whole house if the deal is fine. They make more than $20 a day which most graduates can’t boast of. Even “mama elewedu” has 3 houses, 2 graduates and yet she still hawk on the street. That’s who we are! I don’t look down on any of these guys. They’re well loaded 5 Likes |
