It has no window or direct access to light and fresh air. Installing AC is a challenge.

I have seen a house with such a dinning but eating there won't be fun. Eating hot food in a place that is not ventilated and without AC will be very uncomfortable.

I am sorry to say but it is not good enough to just say someone can't be trusted. You need to elaborate further. In business their is bound to be hick ups . Am afraid this thread is going down, and it's notoriety for infiltrations by nairaland vagabonds increasing tremendously. Noteworthy too, is that those with the real deals and honesty are staying away from the forum while others spend hours daily on this thread doing only what God knows! Skimanski's issue has been swept under the carpet and it's business as usual. A lawyer resurfaces years later, to issue a 24 hour deadline last week and now seem off radar and everything is fine. Mr Z gets his house successfully built by Engr. A and recommends him while vouching for him. But Mr B is screwed by same Engr A weeks later on, or vice-versa. Soon touts and scammers would storm here in disguise and there's nothing anyone can do about it. My advice is rather than go through every lies here from house owners, builders, contractors etc, build a personal relationship with anyone of your choice, I bet the rest will be history. I beg i have elephantiasis of the balls!!

I am not an architect or building engineer. However if this is my project I will have the stairs indoor because of security, put the store, the kitchen, dinning room and living room on the ground floor and have rooms and shared bathroom on the upper floor

Thanks for your comment . Actually, the ground floor is for house help/staff and the store mainly for main building usage while the upper ground will be rented out.
