For the plastering I think you need to take a close look with this pics . Even if I want to build again I will only change engineer but I will retain the guys that did the plastering .

The plastering is quite good from the pictures you posted. I said that before.
But every Engineer and experienced Bricklayer should know the house has to be higher than road level and brings to question if there was any of such on the job.

Also, that your friend you brought late into the job should have been brought earlier (at foundation). You supervising the job was wrong because you should have some experience before

This is a rather frivolous generalisation. Ibadan is big. Some streets may have petty thieves, but Ibadan is still very very safe. Which area are you talking about.

@kola i didnt notice it , if not for the guy that told me i dont know anythin called dpc and it was already late cos i have paid for the roofing if not i could have started all over again, the engineer said they used two blocks dawn and one up , i hate him already because i dont see reason why he should do that , i will do the landscapping , increase the height of the front door ,

Hello my brothers and uncle, thanks to everyone that have contributed to this thread one way or the others if u don't mind, I would like to enroll under dis house, for the past 4 weeks have been following this thread, am always scared to type because of my dramatica error of my grammar but today I say within my self that I most ! there's so much fun in the house, have learned so much from different areas from this group. @ nextstep, this is for your next build. Use angle iron trusses instead of H and I-Beams. You won't be facing the challenges you are having presently.
