A good, sincere plumber needed to work on a 6 bedroom duplex in my village Imo State. Must be prepared to stay on site/family house until completion of job. Must be a professional plumber and not a subcontractor. Zero mobilization. First mobilization on commencement, second halfway and final on completion. Must be ready to visit site and present a quote. Note that it's not the conduit plumbing piping type. Please contact me for details. Thank you |

Port443: The issue is how much do you have to spend to get your solar system to power your ACs effectively without issues ? Not that solar cannot power ACs. Solar can power AC effectively. But how much? Comrade, if you are going to spend 40 million to deliver an AC solar system; Ko make sense. This doesn't add up economically. |

topsy23:calm boss when last did you use an atm in this Nigeria let alone one with a working ac. Way back like 3years ago when some atms were quite functional they don’t work untill 9am when banking operations begins. Boss u really underrate the power ac draws, i had to run a direct connection from the phase supply to my house differently for my 3acs coz the current was affecting everything else and that is the current you are counting on a couple of pannels to deliver. Or should we talk about the effects batteries on human health as well? A guy on TikTok said whenever he’s passing close to the batteries he experienced severe headaches, no him alone his family. visaclick: Common sense, brother. Common sense. Looking at the first picture from Tiktok that you posted (which I have now re-uploaded), you can already see why the person's solar system is sub-par and will struggle to power his/her AC. S/he has 6 units of 330w solar panels. "Assuming" that the panels are genuine and premium panels, the much it will output at "peak" sunlight is 297w per panel, giving a total output of 1782w. Now ask yourself, is 1782w sufficient to power an AC that will probably gulp an average of 1000w while on, and also charge up the batteries, which are like to be 4 tubular batteries?? Let us revisit the words I emboldened above. Assuming: Most of the panels being sold and bought by supposed installers to be installed for their clients are what we call "sticker" panels. These are panels that will carry a sticker stating it is 300w, but it is actually 200w or lower. Alaba boys did it to me when I first started my journey, so I speak out of direct experience. So, if the person who made the comment in attached screenshot have "sticker" panels, s/he probably have panels that are actually 200w, and will output lesser. Peak: Peak here means when the sun is at its highest intensity. This will NOT always be the cade because sunlight intensity will always go high and low for the limited hours it will be available. Then there is also the issues of energy losses due to DC AC conversion, distance from solar panels to setup, thickness of cables, etc. You see now that we were being very generous with our initial figure of 1782w... You need to open your mind to more learning. Sterling bank recently re-modelled their office at Marina to have solar panels on EVERY side of it. It is a beauty to behold. First of its kind in Nigeria. If they didn't believe in solar, do you think they would have embarked on such a significant project? Or you think they did it just to power lights like you said in one of your posts below... Keep doubting solar, while I am leveraging solar to meet my energy needs...
