D reason MTN's own is more pronounced is because of their robust subscriber base. Sumtin works in other countries, wen it comes 2 naija, wat u get is d reason why it doesn't work. |

Gremlins hold MTN internet server hostage by Yomi Adegboye. March 25th, 2009. 79 views Yesterday evening, a gang of nasty gremlins launched an attack on MTN Nigeria's packet data service, rendering it unusable. Till this moment, trying to get a connection on the MTN 3G and GPRS networks has been more difficult than pushing a camel through the eye of a needle. We are talking over 24 hours of unusable service to data subscribers. Hopefully, this nightmare will be over when the sun rises tomorrow. |

in the event of a major disruption in internet service, courtesy demands MTN makes an apology or advance warning and compensate appropriately its customers. visafone did apologise and compensate its customers when it had a similar problem. why take people for granted. imagine a night subscriber who never gets connected till 3.00am and loses connection an hour later. so many wahala with this MTN these days. in fact everything in this country is a struggle. roads, fuel, electricity, security etc abeg i tire for 9ja |

i dont know if i'm the only one having this feeling but mtn is still the best isp i have used in ph. I have modems of ALL the ISPs in port harcourt, none better than mtn. Granted, there are downtimes. but trust me, the amount of data traffic one can pull off of MTN (assuming they worked for only 5 hours a day) is greater than the amount one call pull off of starcomms (if they were On 24 hours a day). |

MTN kills but I know people who have also killed them too, like the free browsing and calling stuff. My neighbour has more than 70k worth of card that he hacked and used, I normally buy from him tru share n sell at low prices. |
