Good morning All, please which school M.sc program in aeronautic engineering or manufacturing and production is quite cheap for an average Nigerian. (schools in US)
Aerospace Engineering is you one way ticket to enter the US AIRFORCE if you are studious o undecided its very competitive undecided
http://best-engineering-colleges.com/aeronautical-engineering

manufacturing and production is a "certificate" type of program (my opinion), i have a friend who is graduating this December with Msc CHEM eng with manufacturing and production Cerf......its just business/operations or engineering management wink

in the words of the great Slimmy05..."there are about 300 good schools in the US" so use the internet to your strength

I usually feel lazy to use Google. But thanks for the nudge to do so. I now understand what it means.
That google which you feel lazy to use, when you get here you will have to use it more, even if you won go toilet u may need to ask google to show you way. so the earlier the better you start getting use to it

Practically hiding under my reading table as I type right now. Hiding from the cold in Murfreesboro, TN. I guess I am not cut out for this cold ish. God help me come Jan and Feb. Heard it would read -26C

Murfreesboro would never get to - 26°. I mean it's friggin Tennessee. Lol. This means winters are probably in the low - 1 to - 4 range. It snows for a day or two in a year and melts very fast.

You're not in Iowa or north Dakota.

There is no special word/wordings to use while going for your visa interview, it all depends on your confidence and zeal when answering questions, forget what everyone will tell you here, cause they will end up looking for something wrong in what you posted up there. Americans are looking for individuals that will impact their society positively, be yourself when you get there next time, don't make it a big deal. Am sure someone out of millions that go for interview has used the same wordings you used while been interviewed and gotten his/her visa. If u truly are a genuine student they will see that zeal and fire in your eyes and grant you the visa, last last everything na luck. Stop looking for anything special to say. Goodluck

Please my school said I should be in school by Jan 12th and I received my i-20 on Friday. I just applied for my interviewed and was given Jan 12th. I was denied August when I wanted to go during the Fall semester. I intend applying for emergency request but it says it is limited only to applicants who have not been refused a visa within the last six months at either the U.S. Embassy in Abuja or the U.S. Consulate General in Lagos.
Please what do I do?

the only option that you have is to defer the admission. probably re-schedule or leave it at that.. depending on the next semester. I had previously applied for fall 2015. semester started sept 11, was asked to enter US on or before 21 sept. and that was my appointment date. I have to defer for next semester which is spring..Jan. and rescheduled my appointment for 23 Nov, which was today.... you know the rest of my story.

Sorry about your denial but that reason is not cogent enough because you can't just choose a school because of a professor..

You can state a reason like the curriculum of the department or faculty and research currently going in the school department or faculty that align with your course and what you will gain or become after studying the course etc..

VOs hate these reasons. How about you give the real reason you selected the school?
There are over 500 universities in the U.S. and most of them offer the course of study that you have selected. So that is not a good reason why you picked one over others.
They all have roughly the same student-to-teacher ratio. So that is not a good reason why you picked one over others.
The year it was founded or the school's history means nothing to you as a student. So that is not a good reason why you picked one over others.

Why, out of all of the available schools, did you narrow your search to this one and ultimately select it over every other option?

What about faculty ranking, ultra modern facilities, geographical location of the school, tuition and alumni?

They have started. Just that they will want you to show your original intl passport, while Ecobank is fine with a photocopy of the information page of the intl passport. The guy that made the payment for me had a copy of my intl' passport. Whoever that wanna pay should first get a trusted person that can pay for him from the states, seme border should be the alternative option.
