Ermark: That level of education is below the scope of this thread. One thing that's sure is why do you want to do your sec school in U.S and not in Nigeria. If your parents are influential, it won't be any problem. |

Ermark:Some simple questions like why you want to study in America instead of your home country, the name of the school, geographical location, are you going to study sciences or arts, what your parents do for a living and many more. Which school is that by the way? |

Okayy so my sponsor paid my sevis fee and i checked the status and everything looks good to me except the part where there is an error on the receipt, my home address what wrongly spelt and additional numbers where added from God knows where, please is it necessary to push for a correction from DHS.... |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 8 by Nobody: 12:35pm On Sep 25, 2015 |
newstudenthere:Really not. In as much as your full name, date of birth, passport number and gender are all correct, I don't think you should worry. Your local Nigerian address is not so important. But you can still contact them to update the "right address" for you in case of necessity. |

please help. how soon can one transfer from a usa university to another one? can I transfer without enrolling at all? I got a school which is quite cheap and I have to show 15000 dollars/ year on my sponsors statement to get the I 20 which is about 4million naira or thereabout which is cheaper compared to the other schools Ive seen. however the issue with the schools location is that I heard its usually extremely cold and that out of 12 months they usually have 8 months of winter(very much below freezing point of water ) and only 4 months of summer. ive been thinking of what to do ever since I heard this because I don't think I can withstand such. im thinking of the possibility going ahead with the i20 but not attending the school at all. please advise me I need your help. |

femi321: You can actually send some other documents alongside your transcript in one envelope. Applying to 4 schools mean you gonna have four distinct packages (Transcript plus other documents in each) to send. Depending on how urgent your application is, you can save some cash by sending through NIPOST. They have a method of sending with you having a tracking number to track it. It takes 10 working days or less to get to the US. I have used it not once not twice and it worked. Just spent about N1,500 on each package I sent (DHL or UPS would have cost me about, N10k for each). As back-up, you can scan and send the other documents via email to your graduate school or Advisor. It works! |

Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 8 by djmakson(m): 11:10pm On Sep 25, 2015 |
femi321: Oh! I actually thot all schls were like the OOU I finished from. In my various cases, I was given my transcript but it was already sealed (which is the most important). So I had the opportunity of sending some other docs with it. |
