Pls, I'd like to know the chances of getting a study permit without having to pay the school fee. My sponsor is my in-law. He owns his own company, also partners with a cement industry here and a truck company abroad. I'm certain his effort and that of my family members(also sponsor) can cook up a good financial background but can I get TRV with that? Also, I'd like to say a big well done to all the contributors here. |

syntuns: You should browse through the websites of universities. The GPA requirement should be clearly stated. You can then come here and ask questions if it is not clear to you. Cheers |

daronscopy: Thanks chief... I've also sent an email to the Program Administrator asking for clarification. Here's what's in the app form: Financial Support – Indicate the expected source and amount of funds for your graduate studies. Please describe how you expect to fund your graduate program (Applications will not be considered without this information). International students must provide proof of financial support. 1 Like |

Yes the Lord has done smth great for me. I applied for spousal open work permit and by God's grace today I have my trv. I promised myself that I will share my testimony in dis room n I appreciate God for making it possible. This will also encourage anyone applying for SOWP. Application submitted online: 6th of Sept Biometrics done: 8th of Sept Medical mail : 30th of Sept Medical done : 1st of October at consultant practice Medical passed mail: 14th of October Passport request mail: 15th of October Submitted 16th Dispatch mail: 21st of October( in d morning, n dis got me so scared because I didn't get an approval mail) Approval mail 21st of October( but came later in the evening). I'm so thankful to God for this opportunity n helping me to be part of this thread. I joined this thread from page 1 of part 8, though I know I'm not going to Canada thru study but just got addicted. I appreciate everyone who has been immensely helpful to everyone on this thread and also contributed to my success story in one way or d other. God bless you all with yur TRV's. Amen. 15 Likes |

Been a silent follower i cant really say how long but long enough to have learned a lot here Its been a long journey.. First application (online) Aug 2014, refused (purpose of visit) i guess that had to do with the course i choose to study and my SOP wasn't strong enough Second app Paper route June 22, 2015 Biometric same day. no communication until Oct 9, i have deferred my admission to January (found out that have been sent medical mail since august to a wrong email address, so i didn't get it) Normally visa will be refused after 14days if medical is not done. i sent them my correct email address and attached my differed admission letter But after 2 month i was sent a fresh medical mail on 13th (grace of GOD) i did not get the medical form mail..i waited but nothing , sent them mails...no response i proceeded to IOM for upfront since i do not have the pre-filled medical form from CIC when i got to IOM i was told i have two IME numbers on there system but they created a new UMI anywaiz Did medicals on 19th and few minutes ago today...i got my approval mail. i really appreciate everyone here and all the hopefuls...there information we are sharing here goes a long way... best of luck to every one..keep the faith and pray/fast hard God is great will send my doc for the house later... closing work... 13 Likes |

syntuns:You can apply to some schools for Masters. They may consider you even though ur cgpa does not meet the required standard. They actually look at other factors as well. So try. Na only application fee uve got to lose. |
