With concern written all over his face, sources in the Presidency said that the aide notified Buhari that there were complains about the unevenness in the number of appointments the President had made in recent times. As of that time, the President had appointed nine persons into various offices. “Sir, people are of the belief that the appointments made so far are lopsided and are in favour of a particular region,” he was quoted to have said. In response, the President was said to have calmly replied that his subsequent appointments would change such perception.
