You are probably a very passionate history student or lecturer because you're the only person I know under the age of 90 who still uses 'Western Nigeria' to signify yoruba states.

You will never find anybody in the country of western Nigeria that use the word south west, if you find, they are mostly igbo people who are pretending to be yorubas.

Nobody call anything south west, in the country of western nigeria. We call it western nigeria. it is the igbos who pretend to be yoruba that call it so.
