Chad has executed 10 members of Nigerian Islamist militant group Boko Haram by firing squad, a day after they were sentenced on terrorism charges, security sources said on Saturday.

“They were shot this morning at the Massaguet firing range,” said one of the sources, referring to a city about 60 km (40 miles) northeast of the capital N’Djamena.

Among the executed was Mahamat Moustapha, a 30-year-old Cameroonian who was accused of masterminding a series of attacks on N’Djamena.

More than 40 people were killed in those attacks in June and July, prompting Chadian President Idriss Deby to introduce a series of tough new anti-terror laws.

Chad is a leading country in a regional 8,700-strong military task force fighting Boko Haram. Mr. Deby says the jihadist insurgent movement could be destroyed by year end.

Is this man playing Ali Modu Sherrif style of BH? Killing anyone that will talk? Which kind of a justice system is this? Even in the US you will face serve time, psychologist and criminologist will study you and they will give you time to confess and have some remorse and if there is any accomplice he will be arrested and a date will be set for you execution, we need to go deep into the root cause of all this madness, stop treating the symptoms treat the underlying disease the symptoms will go away on it own.

President Idriss Deby just saved tens of thousands of dollars that would have been wasted feeding and maintaining terrorists, if Nigeria should take a cue from him, millions of dollars which will be saved can be used to build roads and hospitals, besides, the militants' journey to the land of virgins (Virginia) where they will fuqq eternally will be fast tracked boko haram members are not worth the cost of incarceration!!
