Oliseh ; this is reality not the sweet analysis on Supersport. I will say this not because we drew and were lacklustre; Siasia still remains the best amongst our local coahes.

Your thought on Sisia is seconded, the man was schemed out as super eagles coach by politiking politicians,a coach that did not lost any match official or friendly to no african nation, what happened against Guinea in our 2012 nations cup qualifier was used to rope the man and sack him.I have watched Siasia teams over and over again, his team always score goals, his problem is in defense and the man is getting things right as at the time he was fired.Until we do the right thing in Nigerian football,we will continue to labour in the Senior national team level.

If Mikel not playing in a team will eventually reflect in their performance, then you don't have a team in the first place.

Sunnypa11:
Mikel this Mikel that,Our midfield is minus without him...Facing Egypt Back to Back will be tough for oliseh...Musa is never a born leader

Nawaho Nigerian team self just spoiled my accumulation aba. Only d first day I put dem oh. I will never need dem lie lie oh

Buddy, here's my advice. You must NEVER back Nigeria to either WIN or DRAW! angry Even if you back them to lose, they will win! From my experience over the years, Nigeria will simply do the opposite. Steer clear of Nigeria when you have your money at stake. Pure & simple!

You just agreed Emenike was slow, and that was the major problem, if Haruna wasn't playing to instruction is a different thing.
the build up was slow and lazy wot do u expect of d finishes... We all knw ryt frm time dat super eagle play slow nd posession football in a decorating manner.... Wen we met d likes of spain during CHAN... We slowed d pace down nd played a very good football even though we lost... Now wot am tryn to say is... The midfield is the heart of evry football team.. If it cnt funtion practically d body is dead...so if d build up was strong nd fast believe me d wingers (musa nd co) will be fast making emenike have d drive to swing swiftly into action.... How many crosses were we able to deliver into the box?... D game was poor... Evrybody is to be blamed except the goal keeper

Ar u kidding us?? he should play with bereavement?? We r talking abouh his mum here bro..This is Africa!
It is annoying when you say we are Nigerians/Africans, he should even have honoured his mum the more today, if he had been there, do you know the whole team would have wore black arm bands? He is a professional, if he was at war front would he have requested to be withdrawn to go back home to mourn his mum?.

But most Nigerians think Mikel is not good.

The midfield was minus 2 without Mikel, no coordination, no crisp passing, nothing nothing.. Take it or leave it Oliseh was to quick to substitute Haruna Lukman. The dude was exploring the spaces in midfield. Even if he was to leave the pitch, Rabiu Ibrahim should have taken his place.. Or better still, play a holding Midfielder behind Rabiu Ibrahim and Haruna Lukman.

the problem is not the absence of mikel or onazi, They were there when South Africa walloped us, I know am young but if you study our team criticaly you will understand that our 1994 squad was the most talented. Now start comparing our new set of players with that of 1994 you will understand we dont have Talent anymore in dx team
That's not true. We haven't lost to South Africa in any senior competitive match except a friendly match and it was once.

We need a strong technical department or better still adopt enyimba model of recruiting. Seriously, enyimba will plan a pattern they want to play at the beginning of the season then get a coach whom they know can play the pattern then get at least 2players in each position who can play the style and get like 5 utility players. That is why enyimba is consistent.

Here we go again!

The same Enyeama that faithfully served Nigeria for more than a decade now?

Honestly, I now believe that Nigeria is not worth dieing for.

Oh come of it man. because he saved us doesnt mean he should hold us to ransom. Gerrard is a Liverpool legend, Raul was a Madrid legend, lampard was a Chelsea legend but when it was these players' time to move on, the club replaced them.

because Enyeama is a national team legend doesnt mean we shouldn't drop him and allow other bright talents have game time.

if we continue with this mentality, we'll just be like England and win nothing.

Bros I get ur points, Buh its kinda hard for many to cope in such situations. He might have been permitted to leave camp even if he went. It could have been worse if he was fielded..

Following the sterling performance of debutant, Ikpeme in goal for the Super Eagles against Tanzania in Dar es Sallam, shoul the handlers of the Eagles fret when Enyeama is not available? From my estimation, Enyeama got a challenge on his hands. It will no longer be a stroll in the park for him. We now have a capable replacement.

musa is only 22.quiet lad,it shows.as of now musa is a very good player but definitely not Nigeria's ronaldo.he definitely needs the likes of moses, onazi, and Joel obi, heck!! Nigeria needs them 2.plus in terms of a quality striker as of now Nigeria are dead in DAT area maybe musa should be used as striker he has scored quite a few goals for CSKA Moscow as one

What kind of statement is this. He lost his mother for Christ sake. No human will be able to concentrate and play football under those conditions. This is football not war.

It's like people forget footballers are human too
