The windows 10 ISO link you gave, if I were to install it on an activated windows 8 or 7 will I face problem with activation when upgrading?

dunno wats wrong with my system..once I boot it, after typing my password, it shows d desktop, then shows a green screen , shows d desktop again, dis goes on for like 10 times..i dunno wats wrong

if it's a genuine activated Windows, once you finish installation just connect to internet it'll activate itself. But if not then you will use any activator of your choice to activate after installation

computerboy...pls advice me how i can update my intel HDD 3000 to 4200, i tried it many a time using device manager, i use both intel HDD 3000 and NVIDIA Geforce GT 325M. I observed i cant update most of the drivers perhaps i disabled them to reduce battery drain? what can i do?

You can't upgrade your graphics card on a laptop, you can only update the driver. Intel hd 3000 will always remain Intel HD 3000 no matter what. Go through device manager and right click on the driver then choose update and go with internet (first option)

or better still, use your model number and search your manufacturer's website to download your drivers

Well at least that's a software issue. Try to repair your windows with a CD

That's because his internal keyboard is still connected. Let him disconnect it and try external keyboard you'll see it'll be normal. The screenshot shows the shift key is pressing itself

Thanks a lot bro. I removed the keyboard and then used an external keyboard and it worked perfectly. I will need a place to get another keyboard to replace it. I can't find it in the local computer accessories stores around here. I live in Ogoja, CRS. Don't know if you can recommend a genuine seller to me? Thanks

Hi @computerboy, my screen keep giving me this blue screen as attached in the image. My observation seems to be that each time I run program like Corel draw or Revit program. This problem started last month, it's going to a month now since I started experiencing this issue. I will be glad if you can help.

I believe u didn't give us full details what happened . befor u start experiencing that problem

If ur ba3 is faulty u have to change it but if its a new laptop or u believe that d ba3 is still healthy , then I believe its just some spark inside I want to ask u if u shutdown the laptop do u d charging indicator still showing ??


If yes take it to Engr and correct the ba3 port .it usually happens in Acer laptops when ur extension wire sparks .

Solution 2 if after u shutdown and the indicator is still showing d charging sign .on and allow the ba3 to die to 0% den plug it again.


I have experience that personally . all I do is to plug and unplug my charger when ever it happens .
This usually occur in Acer laptops with inbuit ba3

Or I do one of the above solutions except taking it to ENGR

Did u install d Corel draw and revit program that last month??



If yes d program is probably strong for ur PC . u may need to upgrade your ram .

Try to make sure u are not playing vlc while working on revit.

Ur PC spec pls ??

I need help from the Computer guru's in the house. My system has been displaying ''check Hard disk 1'' when ever i turned it on. It will then display, ''CHKDSK is verifying files'' it also display this, ''file record segment is unreadable. this will go on for hours.
Please what might be the problem with it.

From my personal experience, no. Its the battery. Check the battery and charger first before suspecting the system

I stay in the east so I can't recommend any. But the almighty computer village should have it

You'll need a windows 10 CD. Make sure it's creators update and instal through bios. when you get to part to choose clean install or upgrade you'll see option for repair. I'll advise you meet a technician if you're not savvy enough

Thanks @Android king for ur response, nope, I didnt just installed it last month. I did a system maintenance in August, where I upgraded my OS to Windows 10 from 7. However my system configuration is a gigabyte motherboard wt 16 gig ram, dedicated 2 gig Nvidia graphics card, core i7 (1st generation), 3.5 g processor speed.

The hard drive is about to fail. I'll advise you backup your important files. Then open command prompt, put this code "chkdsk /f" and press enter to try fixing the drive

download the software called jetclean , use it to clean ur pc if it persist save ur files and move the OS back to windows7
