He said he actually needed some files from the M3 mini(which he can't lay hands on at the moment)... if we can upload the files for him, he did get us TWRP in a no distant time

Problem
My PC decided to visit her ancestors recently, as such I can't get the files myself

Solution
Anybody with a PC can get the files, it wouldn't harm or destroy your device

well he needs the recovery.img, boot.IMG and scatter file... though its been long since I ported a ROM and messed around with android source files but I think a nandroid backup with MTK droid tools normally contains all three files along side a lot of other files like data, system etc.

so anyone one with a PC, should volunteer to help, I think I can guide you through the process

The only way to get those files is if the phone is rooted. The only other possible method is through spflashtool readback.

hovateck actually said something about m3 mini users not worrying, that he'd get back soon, but then we can't just hold hands and wait

on a serious note, if you mean the "app drawer" (a grid arrangement of all your apps), then the default carefree launcher doesn't have it

download and install nova launcher or any other launcher you prefer using, go to system manger => app manger => default app settings then change default launcher to the launcher you installed
