Good morning family, Presidential spokesman Mallam Shehu Garba just said the recycling (appointment) of retired years old former military Governor Hameed Ali as the head of Customs is the BEST for Nigeria. Read Shehu... “I think that Col. Ali has a rare breed of reputation that will be difficult to find. There might be a few people in the Customs, but maybe they are too low in rank to warrant this appointment. “I think the President has done the best thing anybody can do for the Customs and for the economy of this country". FACTS ON ALI: 1. He was part of the panel that executed envÍronmentalist Ken Saro Wiwa and several others that drew public outrage. He even justified the killing. 2. Like Buhari, Ali was a proud member of the Abacha's brutal and corrupt Military cycle. 3. As Military Governor of Kaduna state (1996-98), Ali fired over 30,000 striking civil servants in October 1997. He also detained 18 Local Government Chairmen. What is wrong with this Buhari administration?If Ali is the best for Nigeria Customs and Economy then we should brace up for hard times under Buhari. 2 Likes |
