Remember that he says that the constitution empowers him to appoint whoever he likes in the first phase of appointment he has made. He is human being with conscience. If he failed to reward those that had suffered with him now, he may find it difficult to do that when the appointment will be based on federal character. Besides he also have full confidence in those he has chosen and he is ready to face the consequences should anything go wrong in the performance of those he appointed.

I am NOT Buhari supporter. I've been very critical of him on this site, however I strongly feel that any president who wants to succeed would ensure that close positions like chief of staff are held by people that he has absolute trust in.That is just normal.

Most of the interviews Buhari has had with foreign media took place in Nigeria and relayed through their platforms in Europe and the US. Last moth he was live on Goodmorning Nigeria on NTA.
