I am wondering if the claims by about four soft sell magazines (High Society, Top Celebrity, Global Excellence etc) are TRUE. They all claimed that the MD of First Bank Nigeria Plc is the one actually championing the recent spate of De-Marketing in the Banking Industry.  “As you read this, a hideous war is going on in the banking circle right now. It is a war of attrition being wedged by First Bank Plc against some high rising new generation banks.” - High Society Magazine

The report claims that First Bank is going after the customers of Zenith Bank, Intercontinental Bank, Oceanic Bank and Bank PHB and wooing the customers with what other bankers believe is an underhand method. Those in the know say First Bank’s new MD Alhaji Lamido Sanusi in a bid to achieve a superlative performance, which could place him better for the CBN Governor’s has employed all unethical tactics to move customers to his bank.
