in terms of power mismanagement obj is the biggest thief, over 16billion dollars spent during his tenure on power alone, with nothing to show for it. I wonder how Nigerians worship the destroyers of this nation.

at the end of the day this probe wouldn't see any light, we in a very big problem in this country.

OBJ awarded these contracts to companies. What have they done with the various contracts. I think the contractors/consultants needs to be questioned on why these projects are not yet delivered. grin grin

over 2trillion naira was wasted on power from 1999-2014, and till day we can't boast of any steady power supply. Many countries around the world didn't use half of the amount we wasted on power but today they are enjoying a steady power supply.

There are big industries around the world like tractor, cat, etc who uses more our silly 4000megawatts in just their respective manufacturing industry.

Hmmm south/Africa here, uses about 45000megawatts and they are trying to go nuclear energy very soon, but in Nigeria here, with our estimated population of about 200million people, na only 4000 we fit produce. na wah

Sometimes you begin to wonder if the country is really cursed sad

grin grin grin The power privatization thing is a big joke especially the distribution thingy. For example, in my area we had to contribute money to buy another transformer after the old one blew up beyond repair. This was after 3-4months of total blackout.
Haven done that, we were asked by the PHCN people to contribute another money for powering and for some amoured cables and we did too.

Behold! three weeks and some days later we were greeted with some ugly bills in which some ridiculous maintenance fees was included. How can they be so heartless? grin

It didn't stop there. Recently, some fuses and cable got burnt and we had to contribute 1k each flat to facilitate the repair, then the question of where our N160 maintenance fees goes to.

God help our country.

pro Biafrans should learn from South Sudan. the other side is not always greener. Oil is nothing, don't think other tribes will suffer if there's separation. Singapore,Hong Kong and Japan don't have explorable natural resources and they are thriving.

Senate please focus on your primary responsibility of making laws. Don't play to the gallery. The probes can come later, focus on your main job first.

The permanent secretary of the Ministry of Power just denied the widespread rumor of Power outage, says it was an internal malfunction and not equally a sabotage.

That's why you fail exam, secular nation has nothing to do with unity.
They are never divided, they are on agreement, that's why it's working out for them.
The south and the North can never agree on anything. One is blood thirsty and the other is fun loving.

The answer to their progress is UNITED IN DIVERSITY.

Yes , fun loving and criminal. Chukwuma Nzeugwu and Emmanuel ifeajuna creeped into civilian leaders bedrooms at night and killed them ( Friday 15th January 1966) , carefully preserving their tribal leaders . They did the same in the military. That was the beginning thirst for blood.

Lol, that's more reason the probe must continue.

Someone has been running to and fro aso rock since the probe commenced.
Nigeria is fraud and cannot stand. A divided house can never achieve anything good quote me any day any time.
We will remain like this for centuries. When power returns to the North, the south revolt and vice versa

The Discos are operating at a loss and one facebook user posted that Buhari in BBC Hausa Service asked them to choose between refunding their gains after privitization and providing steady electricity, forgetting that its te government that will even need to refund the investors the money they paid so far in buying the various Discos. Governance by Body Language
Did they not do their due diligence? What was the price for which they bought the DISCOs? This body language is better than the other corrupt body language and express licence to bad behavior in governance.
