mandarin: This issue was addressed in the first page. Every LGA in SE & SS should be allowed to vote in a referendum, and the measure simply passes or fails: NO COERCION WHATSOEVER. The vote will be to either vote Yes or No to staying in Nigeria. After that, any group that voted NO will form Biafra. The rest can stay in Nigeria. No war.
It is not your problem HOW we deal with the "Nigerians" in our midst after leaving. Popular opinion is that there will be a revolution inside Biafra immediately after leaving, to purge the new country of "Nigerians". We want a new country, the one founded on the values that we hold dear, not the one imposed by the colonialists.
Again another childish malicious question. Much of our post civil war generation in Nigeria have already been destroyed. In desperation, that generation has involved themselves in all manner of vices just to retain their humanity. For 55 years there has NEVER been 24 hrs power supply in Nigeria. We know we can do better on our own. Biafra is NOT an Igbo only country -I have to emphasize this because your malicious propaganda tend to insinuate that. To agree with you on that lie is to spit on the faces of the non-Igbo Biafrans, some of whom have paid supreme sacrifice for Biafra. Biafra is a multi-ethnic country, albeit one with same values, worldview, religion, and even language to great extents. In Biafra ALL citizens AND RESIDENTS are to be constitutionally entitled to jobs. We shall achieve that because hardwork is our culture and values.
Mosques are to be controlled BY PLANNING CODES, because terrorists and Arabian culture of indolence must not be allowed to creep into Biafra. We shall not be the first to do so. Right now, it is very difficult, and in some places impossible, in the North, to get C of O for a church. We just want coherence and peace in our lands; we don't want Nigeria 2.0 in it. 2 Likes 1 Share |

xyzhill: Thanks bros. Please let's ignore the bitter haters on this thread. Occassionally we should call out their lies of course. You see what they are doing? They are hunting in packs here, "liking" their own posts and trying to make mockery of the ideas here. They cannot provide cohesive and logical counter-arguments. So, they resort to provocations and hateful insults, hoping that you return the favor, so that they can derail and remove the thread. I'm even surprised that the thread has lasted this long... lol. Maybe the site owner wants our side of the story to come out for once. |

carnegiefan: During the biafran war, Nigeria was doing very well without the ibos. Nobody missed you! Only the SE felt the impact of the war. So, is it your armed robbery industry or fake goods industry that Nigeria cannot survive without! It is the idea of Nigeria having another country within her that is anathema to Nigeria; and not that she cannot do without the ibos! If you agree to vacate the SE today, Nigeria will not miss you one bit! Rather, you are a burden on Nigeria! You better wake up from your day-dreaming! 6 Likes |

abikubu: I don't think that ex-gov of Akwa Ibom of "SS" (Akpabio) would agree that it is only "SE" that felt the impact of the war. Nor would Anioma people of "SS" agree. As a matter of fact, no person from former eastern Nigeria, or Anioma would agree with you. But the more important question is why you always use threats against Biafrans whenever they talk about leaving you. I thought you won't miss them as you say? Why are you reminding them of "the impact of the war" in your comment? That is what I call scare mongering and intimidation, and is usually a desperate tactic used by the "Nigerians" once they draw blank in logic and facts. It won't work in this century. 2 Likes |

carnegiefan: You are so full of yourself with ibo bigotry to see the others' counter-argument. In your hazy and unfocused diatribes against non-ibos' comments, you failed to realise the topic is built on a false premise and made astounding claims of biafra becoming a $2 trillion dollar economy in 2 decades or that Nigeria should have been the 4th top economy in the world. That is how dreamy and far-fetched your topic and notion of biafra are. Lest I forget, your fellow biafraudians have been "liking" their own kinds, you narrow-minded pretending tribalist! 5 Likes |

carnegiefan: Those areas were liberated early in the war by the Nigerian Military amidst jubilations of the inhabitants. I told you that it is the idea of Nigeria having another country within her that is anathema to Nigeria; and not that she cannot do without the ibos! It is obvious you are the one drawing blanks in this argument. Your leaders of old biafra had declared biafra dead or ceased to exist, yet people like you who have nothing better to do than mischief keep throwing up tribal bigotry around ibo issues as if you are the only tribe in Nigeria. 6 Likes |

pallyking: Total nonsense from a drowing one Nigerianist. The most idiotic thing I've ever heard a "Nigerian" accuse us of is "bigotry". As I speak, a Biafran child will have to score 66 to enter a so called "unitary" school, while your child or abi na ya master's child can get in after scoring 7. Your institutionalized and crude deprivation of the Biafran leaves bigotry far in the dust! And you have been at it for 55 unbroken years, minor break being between 1967 - 70 when you were busy raping women and starving children to death in Biafra. Yes, we Biafrans can build a $2 T dollar economy in 2 decades! You cannot wrap your mind around it because you are YOU. 2 Likes |

abikubu: Let me even take you on this lunatic lie of yours for a sec. So, because you are scared that maybe Biafra will only be made up of Anambra and Imo states, you have the right to kill and muzzle people from that parts for seeking a UN guaranteed right to self determination; one that your president echoed just last week, at the UN, when he was defending the rights of the Palestinians to a state of their own on the UN Charter on the rights of indigenous peoples to self determination? Have you checked how DIFFICULT it is to create a Palestine out of current Israel, yet you and your president is afraid of allowing Biafra that comprises 9 states (yes NINE STATES, if you doubt it I dare you to conduct a referendum, why are you afraid?) similar right to self determination! Your conspiracy deny us international airports and decent access to fair education opportunity, right to control our political and economic destiny. Yet you turn around to call us "bigots". Purest form of lunacy is when an armed robber accuses his victim of being "mean" for defending himself. That, my friend, is what you are doing. |

Hello to u guys. Ive read all the insults as well as the plans of making Biafra a real thing... First, I want to talk about Ojukwu. U have immortalized him in your hearts. Why? He ran away and left u all to die. In my opinion, thats not fair especially if he was a leader. A good leader takes off his crown and shoes to fight side by side and even die with his people. He didnt feel that what he believed in was enough to die for. Helpless women and children died for his ego. And ge ran away with his rich friends. If I am wrong , enlighten me. Now on the civil war, ibos did die... ss, se, died as well. They paid the price for things that some of them knew not so much about... If u want biafra, what are u doing about it? Is it only here on Nairaland? Cause I dont see u ibos tearing your Nigerian passports and coming back to Biafra. U are all enjoying the privileges of having a nigerian passport. I believe in freedom and thats why, I do support that if a person does not want to be Nigerian, do not force him. I think the ibos should l be allowed to form their own country. If it fails, they could always lean on other west African countries. I pray it doesnt though. Lol. I will take a tourist visa to ur country Biafra one day. Please guys, stop the fighting and let them strategize. I am a northerner ( adamawa, kaduna state) of Nigeria and I think the ibos should go since they are not happy to be with us ( cow smelling people) as they term us. Peace! 1 Like |

carnegiefan: To be honest I do hope that economy can be built in 20 years as u have said. With minimum stealing or fraud from the people as well as the government, this could be achieved in Biafra. Please answer my questions about the plans, and also why Okukwu is the god Zeus or Odin in your heart |

You guys need to understand the baboons and monkeys are here to derail the thread and not giving them a mention will chase them off. It is a slowpoke that will hear and read the speech of their dull B.oohari at the UN on self-determination and still be on the course of "one nigeria". Yes. Enugu and Port Harcourt has an international airport with 99% domestic flight. And the 1% international flight need to visit Lagos,Abuja or Kano before embarking on its international route. You won't know this because you sit your lazy ass in your parent's house and type poo. Morons please leave Ojukwu alone. He has done his part and is dead. Your grandfathers and fathers are seeing something different from the last secession which you kids can't see that's why they are fighting so hard. A common media war they cannot win. Radio Biafra keeps extending its signal across the zoo and the world. I had more reason to laugh at the zoological republic of nigeria when an animal in human skin posted here that building a double bridge over River Niger is a dream caused by smoking marijuana. The so called "brave" ones that fought the war with Ojukwu and are still alive what have they done to develop the zoo to atleast a modern zoo as seen in a civilized society? Are they not the epitome of corruption? Where is T.Y Dajuma and Gowon? Can't they use their so called brave military skills to raise young men that can stop the killing and raping going on in their home towns. You want the unity of Nigeria so much but you can't have a civilized discussion on how to make it work. Useless leaders of tomorrow of nigeria ask your grandfathers leading you why reports of every national conference is been thrown inside the trash after billions of money are spent? Monkeys of tomorrow, what can be done to reduce the unemployment rate in your country? Can you discuss these? IPOB Youth 1 Like |

Nobody can sit on the dreams of millions of Biafrans. Biafra MUST be restored. Not even their propaganda, threats etc can stop us from marching forward, even if it is going to war the second time. With the this shiiiit hole called Nigeria is structured, even if you elect angel Gabriel as president nothing good will still come out of it. When we go to war the second time, the whole world will believe that we are serious. This evil union(Nigeria) must be destroyed |
