State Governor Abiola Ajimobi
Oyo State Governor Abiola Ajimobi has
confirmed his readiness to chair the
public unveiling of Western Post
Newspaper, the regional weekly covering
essentially the old Western region.
Coming after one and a half years of
publishing the regional newspaper, the
public unveiling is slated for Tuesday,
September 15 at Bashorun Hall, Ibadan
Civic Centre, Agodi GRA, Ibadan, Oyo
State capital.
As part of the programme, there will be a
national conversation on the theme:
“The Dwindling Oil Revenue: A Case for
Regional Integration”.
The Director-General of the Development
Agenda for Western Nigeria, Mr. Dipo
Famakinwa, will present the Lead Paper
on the theme while Permanent
Secretary, Ministry of Communication
and Information Technology, Dr. Tunji
Olaopa, and Centre Director, Centre for
International Advanced and Professional
Studies (CIAPS), Prof. Anthony Kila, are
among the Discussants.
Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf
Aregbesola, and Chairman, THISDAY
Group and Arise TV, Mr. Nduka
Obaigbena, will be the Special Guests of
Honour while Senate President Bukola
Saraki, Deputy Speaker House of
Representatives, Hon. Suleiman Lasun
Yusuf, and other four Governors in the
South-west geo-political zones namely-
Dr. Olusegun Mimiko (Ondo), Senator
Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun), Mr. Akinwunmi
Ambode (Lagos) and Mr. Ayodele Fayose
(Ekiti) are slated as Guests of Honour. His
Royal Majesty, Alaafin of Oyo, Oba
Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, will be the
Royal Father of the Day.

lol..another version of Radio Biafra? Well, this is more civil...it is now time for regional development...I can see my Northern brothers getting together also.

I urge Biafrans to do the same and stop screaming "the zoo must fall"

if the Igbos can get rid of their "corrupt governors and leaders", they will enjoy this Nation
