I keep hearin nigerians bragging everyday dat we can do without america aids since when fmr. pres GEJ had a meetin wit us pres. Obama nd refuse to accept same sex marriage. pres buhari also refused da same offer to accept same sex marriage and america threatens to cutoff all aids given to nigeria. Can we really live without aid from america? if u ask me, i will say NO, if legalizing same sex marriage iz all obama wants, then buhari shud do it and we can see real changes afterward.. My opinion though.

@Op you are definitely not a Biafran for thinking in such way, i really respect peoples opinion and yours is a very good one because our people says "uche onye adighi njo" this is my opinion= we don't have to depend on this white countries to survive na, when we want light, bore hole, road all we see are American contractors, when will we start believing and using our own resources for our own good and still preserve our heritage and culture, (that i think was what Goodluck was trying to make Nigeria believe) instead we choose to seek aid and throw away our culture and heritage...

Africa will continue to be under the control of the west, any leader that refuses is dealt with i.e Nkurumah, Gadhaffi,Mugabe, Buhari(military era) nd Abacha etc. Africa has to be backward for them to continue to get our resources. the recent improvement in power has meant generator ales has reduced, perkins UK, Chinese nd Japanese coys wont be happy about this and may resume the sabotage in connivance with Nigerians. Sad reality of life
