Following the commencement of the selection process of the new Ooni of Ife, one of the ruling houses in the ancient town- the Lafogido Ruling House, has faulted the Chieftaincy Declaration of 1976 by the Justice Ademola Commission, claiming it erred in its conclusion on many issues regarding the true royal families.
