Looking beyond president Buhari's northern appointment brouhaha, I would like to highlight two demographics that Buhari is not fair to, the Youth and Women.

As someone that works with facts and not sentiments, I decided to break down the appointments based on age of the 30 important appointments he has made so far.

70 - 80 years = 11
60 - 70 years = 12
50 - 60 years = 6
40 - 50 years = 1
30 - 40 years = 0
20 - 30 years = 0

President Buhari's appointments by Gender
Male: 29
Female: 1

Out of the over 30 appointments our president has made so far, only one (1) is below 52. Only one (1) is female.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation is 77 years old. This have shown that this administration is purely a gerontocracy.

I would be looking forward to the average age of the ministers that would be announced

Nigeria doesn't 'ave the luxury to be age, gender or sex sensitive when making appointments like the developed countries of the world, who he feels are the best hands should be the priority.

So far, PMB has mainly appointed people he's really close to; he has only appointed his 'kitchen cabinet' made up of people he likely grew up with within his age grade.

However, I wonder why no one ever talks about the appointment of the NNPC GEDs when they talk of PMB's appointments. And finally, you failed to mention the yound lad appointed as the presidential photographer (Bayo Omoboriowo); I think he's 28 grin cheesy
