Arsenal have reportedly determined that Jack Wilshere requires surgery on a hairline fracture in his left leg that could rule him out for several more weeks.
The England international is yet to play for the Gunners this season after sustaining the injury in pre-season.
It was reported that Wilshere might make his return against Stoke City last Saturday, but Arsene Wengerconfirmed in his pre-match press conference that the 23-year-old had suffered a setback.
