Pastor Adeboye Buys Brand New $65 Million Gulfstream Jet, Starts Luxury Airline - SaharaReporters

Some 24 hours after SaharaReporters revealed that controversial "miracle" prophet, T.B. Joshua, had secretly purchased a $60 million private jet, our investigators have learned that another high profile pastor, Enoch Adejare Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has taken delivery of a brand new jet.

The sources familiar with Pastor Adeboye's purchase of the new Gulfstream aircraft disclosed that the jet's arrival coincided with the pastor's floating of a luxury jet company, Emmanuel Aviation. Although the aviation company reportedly existed since 2009, it had just unveiled a website to announce its swanky fleet and aviation services.

Pastor Adeboye's Gulfstream G550 luxury jet was manufactured in Savannah, Georgia State in the US. The jet, which was made in 2013 is far newer than the one bought by Pastor TB Joshua.

Information obtained by SaharaReporters revealed that Pastor Adeboye took delivery of his brand new jet in May 2015.

We learned that, with the arrival of the US-registered jet, N730EA Gulfstream G550, Pastor Adeboye has jettisoned an older Gulfstream GIV with tail number N707EA that used to ferry him around the world on his preaching missions.

Our sources said the leader of the Redeemed Church personally owns Emmanuel Aviation to which the two jets are registered both in the US and Nigeria.

An aviation expert explained that Nigerian jet owners prefer US registration of their jets because such registration grants them generous landing rights worldwide.

Pastor Adeboye becomes the second Nigerian pastor to start a private airline in the country. The first operator of a private airline was the controversial prosperity preacher and billionaire pastor, Bishop David Oyedepo. The Winners Chapel pastor owns two aircraft in his Dominion Air Company. One of Pastor Oyedepo's jets is a Bombardier Challenger 604 with registration number N664D while the other is a Beechcraft 19000D with registration number (5N-WCI).

Nigerian prosperity pastors have emerged as some of the wealthiest preachers in the world, but their luxury lifestyles are at variance with the squalor and poverty of most members of their churches.

Apart from owning a jet company, Pastor Adeboye's RCCG also owns sprawling real estate along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Former President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience Jonathan, are reportedly among politically and socially privileged Nigerians who own multimillion dollar mansions at the RCCG.

I have seen everything that is done under the sun, and behold, all is vanity and a striving after wind...

Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, vanity of vanities! All is vanity.

What does man gain by all the toil at which he toils under the sun?

A generation goes, and a generation comes, but the earth remains forever.

The sun rises, and the sun goes down, and hastens to the place where it rises.

The wind blows to the south and goes around to the north; around and around goes the wind, and on its circuits the wind returns.

Aviation sector is highly lucrative. Am sure that the money generated from this business will be used for church project.
rusher14:

So you would spend $60 million to buy an airplane to fund a church?
yes I would. Hope you read the thread, the private jet isn't for personal use only. He has already established a private jet business since 2009. He will recover that $60million within 3yrs. Hiring of private jet is the most lucrative business in the aviation sector. In the private jet hiring business, customers can buy a block of up to 25hrs flight time that can be used over a 24 months period . The service doesn't come cheap at approximately $150,000 or $200,000 per person. Depending on the size of the private jet, a small private jet can carry a passenger of 15 people, so do the maths yourself bro $200,000 multiply by 15 passengers = $3million. For those that are criticising, this is a mega lucrative business venture and its highly capital intensive.

Pastor Oyedepo is not a prosperity preacher, whatever that means. You people should focus on politicians who steal public funds. The church members have not complained to any of you.

Olorun a see fun gbogbowa. Happy for the man in synagogue I am. And glory be to the name of the Lord for Pastor E.A. Adeboye. I am not expecting them pastors to break poverty records to become poor, but rich. When you wish that someone succeed and he succeeds, would you now change the prayer to a wish that they never enjoy the fullness of success possible in that rank? Success is enviable, poverty is pitiable. We should be the best manifestation of what we pray for others.

The power of tithes and offering yet their members can't afford their schools.

Because running a private school in Nigeria.,....when the government is not funding you, or providing power or water for you....is that cheap...not.

Adeboye runs schools, churches, welfare projects, and has to pay salaries for staff and pastors. He also has to fund church buildings.

Meanwhile....it costs $110 million to run a university properly per annum. (American unis spend at least $250 MILLION).

I am not happy with our pastors buying jet.....but to say that they are exploiting their members via school fees is far from the truth. It costs money to fund a school properly. And while I rather Adeboye spend the jet money on the schools....it still won't be enough.

You pay low school fees in your govt owned unis because government pays billions to subsidsie you. Now...imagine if that subsidy is taken away....

ADEBOYE, REDEEM CHURCH LEADER IN N20 BILLION IMPORT WAIVER SCANDAL

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has been linked to a scandalous import duty waiver said to have cost Nigeria a whooping N20 Billion in revenue loss between 2006 and 2007.

A Fiscal Commission source in Abuja preferring anonymity told Pointblanknews.com during the week that pastor Adeboye, tapping into his well-known ties with former President Olusegun Obasanjo benefited from the shady import duty waiver in which Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Chief Mike Adenuga, Alhaji Saminu Turaki, Mr. Donald Duke and others were prime beneficiaries.

According to the impeccable source, the duty waiver granted Adeboye was said to have been used “dishonestly” by the church to import luxury Sport Utility Van, SUV (usually called Jeep in Nigeria), building materials and Digital Recording equipment some of which were said to belong to top members of the church both within Nigeria and abroad. In other words, the source surmised that Adeboye used his high level connections to “aid and abate” his church members to defraud the nation by not paying the requisite importation fees.

The source said that many of the RCCG’s faithful in Nigeria and abroad had celebrated the “unlawful act” as a “testimony to the goodness of the lord.” It was said that a Pastor Ghandi of the Jesus House, RCCG in Washington DC where the late first lady Mrs. Stella Obasanjo used to worship whenever she was in the United State, was a facilitator of the deal.

Many of the luxury cars that were said to have been imported through the deal were not meant for private use. They were said to have been sold at several car dealerships across the country. The source explained to pointblanknews.com that even if the items were not traded, it was unheard of that “people would import duty-free luxury items into any country.”

The official did not rule out the possibility of a thorough investigation of the deal which he said could make Adeboye to pay and possibly face charges.

A document made available to pointblanknews.com indicated that in 2006, RCCG got an import waiver of N9,831,109,309.00 through certificate no.,BO/REV/12235/S.2/T.133 to import construction materials; generators and vehicles. The value of the imports was N49,155,546,846.00.

In 2007, another import waiver was granted. This time through a certificate number BO/R10260/V111/161, RCCG was granted rights to import building/construction materials with value put at N48,988,454,876.00 with a total waiver of N9,757,690.975.20. The two waivers total N19,588,800,284,20, while the bulk transactions amount to N98,144,347,130.20.

Also 300 luxury cars with value put at $6,923,000, 100 Jeeps (SUV) valued at $8,000,000, Video Equipment valued at $12,000,000.00, were all part of the shady import deals.

It would be recalled that the comptroller General of Nigerian Customs Services, Mr. Jacob Gyang Buba had been investigated by the independent Corrupt Practices Commission, ICPC in connection with an annual loss of N50 Billion in respect of the importation tariff waiver introduced by the Government of President Olusegun Obasanjo.

The spiritual depth of some practices of the RCCG has been subject of concern amongst growing conservative Christian worshippers. Adeboye is often criticized for being interested in quantity and not quality. He is said to have broken his church to model parishes were prosperity theology is often preached. The other class of followership is usually called Redeemed Classical. They are more mortified and often completely scriptural. Apart from Adeboye’s too cozy with the high and mighty elite, he was said to have given tacit blessing to ex-president Obasanjo’s third-term Presidential dream that was truncated with sudden humiliation.

Believe this news at your own peril.
Yesterday, they said it was T.B Joshua who bought the jet, Today, they changed the owner to Adeboye.

All they want is to drag the men of God down.
