KryptiC: for now proof (nigerian bank account statement) will suffice. its more than 2.5 now!! browse and convert using current exchange rates. You'll however need to deposit when you get admitted next year. |

KryptiC: Yeah its much. You're in the same boat with a lot of people. its either the CGP requirement is too high or no money. worst residency after study completion is no longer guaranteed. Reason why Norway is no longer attractive for a lot of immigrants. I remember one school still looking for students to fill one of their courses around this past July. That's asking people to apply!! it was funny. With the nationalist mentality sweeping Europe I expect Norway to come up with more stringent anti immigrant moves. God help us. 2 Likes |

Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by trilobite: 5:50pm On Oct 01, 2017 |
BlueWizAngel: This your questions is not coherent, I'll try my best: Most schools I know require you to indicate to them if you'll not require the accomodation they'll offer you one you've been admitted. the residence permit comes first before the accomodation, to the best of my knowledge. the part about your uncle is lost to me. 1 Like |

trilobite: Thank you, it's my first time applying to a Norway school (undergrad), from what I saw on the University of Nord's website you have to sort out your accomodation yourself they only link to their student housing website outside that nothing but they also noted that, you will have to proof you have somewhere to stay while applying for Visa if granted admission. Hence the part about my uncle, my question was, if I can use his residence as a proof? considering the fact that he lives in Oslo and Nord university is in Bodo. 1 Like |

BlueWizAngel: Undergrad?!! nice one. while I am baffled as to how you intend getting over the Norwegian language requirement, I feel you need to send an e-mail to your school. cc;starflux 1 Like |

BlueWizAngel:Your punctuation skills are very poor, hence the incoherence and difficulty in understanding you. You need to spend some days to take care of it. From what I understand, apply for the admission first and get it. You only need proof of accommodation when applying for a visa. Every university has a student housing and they normally give all students who apply before the deadline. How can you use an address in far away Oslo as proof of accommodation for a school in Nord? The school will give you one which you will use during your visa application. 2 Likes |

Hello Guys, My University emailed my transcript to NTNU (admissions@sa.ntnu.no) a few weeks back before Søknadsweb had opened, but i noticed it has not been uploaded on the application portal. I did this because on the website they advised sending documents through that email if the application portal is closed. I have emailed them but no response Please any advise on how this can be uploaded on the application portal. Thank you |
