These so-called "Northern leaders" are id*iots! Nigeria had a confab everyone participated but now these rag-heads want "northern" confab because they didn't get everything they wanted in previous one. Northerners have been in power more than other ethnic groups, with nothing to show for it except endemic corruption and Boko Haram! And yet the north is the most impoverished region in the country! These parasitic id*iots who called themselves "Northern leaders" should go and bury their heads in the desert sand in shame! 2 Likes |

tomakint:It was done on purpose to ensure that they have an upper hand ,but the backfiring is imminent and this is why I have consistently asked this question: How long can you hold a people against their wish? with no strong leverage except the subtle threat of war and violence which would soon be put to the test if we continue with this current slave-master arrangement orchestrated by the West to ensure that their slave drivers remains the custodian of their backyard. The North have no choice than to acculturate and move forward with a modern Nigeria where every man would be fairly represented with fairness and equity. If they refuse to listen to the voice of reason and act appropriately , then some people would have no choice than to speak through the barrel of the gun....And there would be no winner - It's a lose-lose situation and that would be a great tragedy for the black race. 1 Like |

I will agree for another confab only if secession will be on the table. Lets split the country into three- Republic of Biafra, Oduduwa Republic and Islamic Republic of Arewa or Nigeria. Then other smaller ethnic groups can permanently join any of the above countries. Problem solved! |

Methinks conferencing is a good way of making money nowadays; once one conference is done, another group finds something wrong with it and another conference reconvenes...ad infinitum |

To be a Nigeria and stay put to the Northners is a curse. If Nigeria is for Northern Nigeria, we will have the repeat. Well, who cares? Biafra my home, my country, my bond. |

The reason some of us didn't support GMB is simply because he too, like his fellow northern elders won't hear of fiscal federalism Someone who says he likes integrity will stand by justice but that is not PMB Just like Odumakin, we have outgrown Buhari. We know that Nigeria's problem isn't corruption, which it has been shown is not a PDP issue( Fashola sef is a common thief of public funds) but the right to self determination and self rule within a united country Even with the best doctors in a surgical room, without the right diagonisis the pain staking operation would bring cosmetic relief to the patient 1 Like 1 Share |

Omololu007: My friend voting PDP or APC is not the issue here. After all besides Buhari and Osibanjo tell me who else can swear not to be corrupt one way or the other. Even the Fashola we all though was a saint have a lot of questions to answer. Please park well with this APC PDP thing. |

omonnakoda: Fajuyi and Ogundipe were also a part of the government that abrogated fiscal federalism as you put it Even Hassan Katsina and Yakubu Gowon were parts of the same government. However a few months afterwards, an Igboman Emeka Ojukwu spearheaded the Aburi agreement in which fiscal federalism and even confederation was adopted, but the other Nigerian, including Awolowo and Enahoro kicked against it. That is why fiscal federalism has not been experienced in this nation since then. Yorubas also fought against fiscal federalism in the past conference, alongside the north. 1 Like |

murphyibiam15: What nonsense! Sometimes I wonder why they are called elders, because obviously, they are not thinking straight. My reasons are not far-fetched: They were a large chunk of the conference, so why didn't they say that then, or why didn't they address those their pressing issues? They are not concerned about the billions spent which will be a waste if another conference is convened in this era of austerity and revenue generation drive. They playing themselves into the hands of those who see them as having a northern agenda different from all others. |

OfoIgbo:PLease shut your dirty mouth. Were there no Eboes in the Nigerian Army that fought Biafra? Ojukwu di not quarrel with decree 34 until Eboes stopped benefitting? Why Ojukwu lost out in the coup and was looking for an excuse to secede because he could not come to terms with the new reality which was Eboes were losing power All you people know is to lie from birth. The same Awolowo and Enahoro that fought for Fiscal federalism would now fight against it. Where is the written copy of this so called Aburi agreement? Why has NO ONE EVER seen it? We have to rely on your stupid rumours and hearsay. You claim that so much was agreed at Aburi and there is no document> Guy go and open your kiosk 1 Like |

omonnakoda: You oblong-headed monkey lookalike, you can scream all you want, the reality remains that right from the onset, Yorubas were always against fiscal federalism starting from Fajuyi and Ogundipe that came in with Ironsi. Yoruba antagonism towards fiscal federalism carried on, with their total rejection of the Aburi Accord. The latest Yoruba treachery towards fiscal federalism was in the just concluded national conference in which they towed the line of their masters in the north to frustrate fiscal federalism. 1 Like |

OfoIgbo:Right from the onset? You are funny The Western Region was the most buoyant and contributed the Most An Eboe abrogated Fiscal federalism and the rest is history Now stop the digression and get back to the issue which was what position did Eboes put forward at the 2014 National Conference? Who ,AGAIN ,were the champions of Fiscal Federalism in 2014. You folk are inveterate LIARS |
