See what Buhari and his APCheat party has caused- promising to DASH people money without working as he does for his almajiri followers rather than provide them education and make them get/CREATE jobs.
Na so everyone dey expect to get electricity FREE without paying also.

Oya Sai Baba, abeg use your body odour to provide free electricity oh. shocked

At least ol Bubu did not promise to cut electricity bills....indeed the only thing APC said about electricity was Atiku saying the whole DISCO thing should be revisited.

But I am not surprised the bills are going up....the DISCOS are not making profits, and they have a lot of infrastructure to fix up properly. Guess who pays....the consumer.

For the record....I think it was a good idea to privatise electricity.....the problem always was going to be who pays for the costs of privatisation. And it obviously isn;t the govt or the companies.

We are on the same page here.
I was just being sarcastic about the old pensioner and his dash dash economy that leads to ROT.
The government should simply ensure the profits from the company are TAXED properly and comprehensively while the consumers ensure they have lobby groups to minimise the margins/exploitation to the companies

How much do you pay for fuel to obtain the same hours of electricity that you get now
Stockholm Syndrome. Should I be happy that I gets power, and in that bid, also pay for power not consumed? Ironically, I have a company that got machines running on 3 phases and a commercial line Prepaid meter. I spends less than N10,000 in 3months!
I consume more power in my three apartments than my company!!
Ridiculous.
All thanks to Estimate billings on Analog meter. I'm better off paying a lawyer N200,000 for a lawsuit than paying N20,000x12months annually to EEDC.
It's far cost effective.

Why can't they get a prepaid meter as this will put a stop to PHCN & their sister companies wicked bills but they will still have to put up with double taxation on payment.

They are protesting against crazy bill by Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company and you are saying that it is because they did not vote Jimi Agbaje and that it is Tinubu that is making them suffer. You need your brain examined and your blood pressure monitored.

There PDP guys have mental problems. The Ibo female child abuser FFK added his own last week about Nigeria being a satanic entity just because Nigerians threw his corrupt, clueless party in the trash can. Now an ordinary peaceful protest by less than 1000 people has become an endorsement of Agbaje. The average un exposed PDP youth still indulges in the wishful thinking that Buhari will drop dead, be overthrown and Jonathan will be begged back into the Presidency with Wike as VP and Obi as Senate President...LOL!!!!.

It is either u don't pay ur bills urself or u must be among fortunate nigerians that got the preppaid meter before they stopp giving. If not , u won't be spilling trash. How can phcn bring a bill of 24k to a one bedroom apartment with no heavy gadget. If they are not broad day robbers. These nea officials are big thieves and have bin milking innocent nigerians with their outrageous estimated bill.
Its God that will judge dem!. Idiots!!
Well i didn't know it was that bad, i don't live in that clime. And ofcourse, i do pay my bills myself ma'am.
Re: Protest Going On On LAGOS STATE Secretariat Road (pictures) by bassdow: 5:28pm On Sep 16, 2015
I have always said one thing and would continue to say it - Nigerians are the architect of most of their problems. How do you expect PHCN to give you light when you already pay your bills in darkness. You pay when they don't give light, how and why do you now expect them to provide a service they already get paid not providing.
As far as am concerned, I will never waste my time and energy protesting for NEPA/PHCN. I would never even attack them if I see them climbing ladders like monkeys or distributing bills. I don't have those powers but I ha e one very mighty power - power to hold my money. If only Nigerians can just be sensible enough to hold their money and refuse to pay, NEPA/PHCN would sit up but over and over again, I keep seeing people who can't boast of 10 hours light in a month rushing to make payments. To me, they are only contributing to the problems.

Must everything be attributable to Tinubu? What has Tinubu has to do with protesting on Tariff that is exclusively under the control of FG? I wonder how some Nigerians reason through their anus.

It seems you are suffering from an organized system which can send someone back to Otueke called - Tinubulitarianism tongue tongue tongue tongue
