The All Progressives Congress, APC, has put its weight behind embattled Senate President, Bukola Saraki, clearing him of any corrupt practices and insisting that the alleged corrupt practices levied against him are plots by his political enemies determined to tarnish his image.

A chieftain of the party in Sokoto State, Abdullahi Sarkin-Gobir Adiya made this declaration during an interview with ThisDay Newspaper, where he confirmed that Saraki is free from any corrupt practices and insisted that Nigerians are satisfied with his leadership style and qualities.

“Where are the evidences against Saraki? Let his detractors tender the evidence to Nigerians. I don’t think Saraki is a corrupt leader. Many Nigerians believe that Saraki is not corrupt but it is just the antics of political enemies who want to see his downfall.
