they just sent those their generic email again this afternoon. I don't even know what exactly to make of it anymore at this point

Ikedonn:
Has anyone recently secure brazil visa?

Got my parcel yesterday, and it's really shocking.
No letter or note providing reason for denial, they just returned my documents same I sent it.
The online application page moved from under review to Not Approved. No reasons whatsoever.

I don't know what to right now, if am reapplying, do I need to pay another application fee or I should rework my application and update all the documents and resend.

These guys are not nice at all, at least if you deny an application, give reasons and guide on wayforward

What can somebody do at this point, cos this is the same thing that happened with me.

For documents returned via courier without any explanation, do we need to pay a new application fee and apply fresh or resend the documents back with more documents attached ?

Once your documents were returned without the visa,it simply means you are not granted the visa and if you want to do it again, you have to start afresh.

But if you check the portal , the status column shows “mailed”. Ok if I may ask what can one do differently when reapplying?

Secondly what if the documents were returned based on incomplete documentation (just asking). How does one know what the reason is?

You're looking at the appointment portal, check the status portal https://formulario-mre.serpro.gov.br/sci/pages/web/ui/#/consultar-situacao fill the required field to check the status of your application.

Maybe cuz the year is coming to an end?
I'll suggest you apply again (depends on the purpose though).
Please ensure to attach sufficient documents, also a cover letter (very important). Make sure everything you submit online, you also submit hard copies...I mean every single thing.
Everything you mention in the cover letter should have evidence attached (and uploaded, of course).

Too many backlogs……let the ones of 8 months old get attention at first. Before the 12th month, you might be attended to🤓

I’m now sure there’s preference on this Brazil visa stuff.
A friend of mine paid agent last month for a Brazil visa and he got his visa yesterday.

Things have fallen apart
Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by oluomoadebayo: 11:43am On Nov 12
Just be careful with agents because many fake stuffs are flying around.

am not surprised if it's true just like Qatar did... You have to apply through legit agents unless you have uk, usa, Canada, schengen visa..... If that's only way to get their visa.. Nothing we Nigerians fit do... Their country their rules
