So true. Many girls mess themselves up in during the course of service. undecided
if the boys/men are faithful there is no need for ladies to mess themselves up.

NYSC is over rated in Nigeria...the standard behind it has been lost.

It should be scrapped.

There is nothing bad you serving your Father Land. It's just that most of our Youth(male and female) nowadays are not faithful. May God Help Us. #TeamEloquent!

Not entirely true .Some states and/or LGs don't offer a thorough test of a lady's faithfulness.Take for example a lady who served in kano, takai LGA...what test does she undergo? The post is not applicable to all states.

Well cheating in relationships is a man's thing they say, but on this note I fear ladies....

In my opinion, don't trust ANY lady or woman.... Can't say much for now... Hmmm!

The guys they're cheating with had and left girlfriends where they embarked from o. So methink it's a contraflow thing.

This is just similar to those who are in a distant relationship, particularly those whose boyfriends/girlfriends are in different uni. They'd likely succumb to pressure from one of the many guys soliciting for their romance. More reason why I can't involve in a distant affair. I'd be a fool if I dare.

So am now a fool since I mostly venture into long distance relationships eh?? Nwoke, kpashara anya gi oh! undecided

Having successfully concluded my one year compulsory service to the nation, I can categorically say here that, any girl/lady who doesn't cheat, or attempts to cheat on her partner/husband during her service year, will to a very large extent, remain loyal and faithful for the rest of her life; take it from me.

The reason for the afore assertion is not far-fetched; NYSC is generally perceived as an avenue to engage, even if for the last time, in all maners of immoralities. During this period, you can hardly differentiate a married lady from a single lady; they all want to catch the fun with out any form of social discrimination from their colleagues. Most married ladies go as far as taking off their sacred wedding rings once they put on that revered, or perhaps cursed khaki.

I remember quite vividly, the frown that greeted me the day I curiously, but politely asked a married lady in my platoon, why she wasn't working on redeploying back to the state where her husband was residing. The stern look on her face as she looked at me, could be vaguely interpreted to mean, "wtf! do I look too old to be in this camp?"

Carry out a quick but careful study, you'd be surprised to find out the number of female corp members, that get married just few weeks after POP, who were hitherto, your close/intimate female friends.

I will NEVER advice any reasonable man, to allow his wife particularly, and may be his fiancee, to be deployed outside his state of residence. But if he wants to put her character to test, then there isn't any test which can be as rigorous and complex as the NYSC (Not recommended) smiley

NB: the above post is made with out prejudice to the sound moral and ethical standards, which the NYSC scheme is built upon.

a joyous place of SEXX.

We come, we have fun, we park dieseas as a firewel gift,
And we die looking for job.
Nysc!! The place of both fun and misery. Or rather the goddess of SEXX

But I have seen some decent ladies also in camp

I do not think that it will be nice to label all ladies promiscuous

There are still some decent ladies

You obviously do not understand these terrains you listed viz-a-viz how it affects corpers. I have so many pals who served in some core Northern states, they would laugh so hard if they come across this your post grin
