Free Windows utility software Kingo Android Root makes it very easy to take total control of any Android Smartphone. Here we will talk about how to use it.

Rooting of an android device is equivalent of jailbreaking in apple iPhones, it is the total unlocking of the operating system so that user can install unapproved (by Google) apps, update the OS, replace the firmware custom ROM, over-clock or under-clock (increase or decrease the speed) of the processor, customizing the device with just about anything.

A lot of android users take rooting as a very scary thing to do to their device. And rooting seems as playing around with the device OS which can be referred as a recipe of disaster. With any little mistake or miss step the device might end up dead.

Now there is windows utility software that makes rooting very easy and a one-click thing: Kingo Android root. It is free and works perfectly well for rooting of almost all device. But there has been a compatibility list on their home site.

Now let’s get started with rooting our Android devices.

Step 1:

Download and install the utility software for windows Kingo Android Root Here for free.

Step 2:

Enable USB debugging mode on your android device. If your device is running on Android 4.0 or 4.1, then tap Settings >> Developer Options >> then tick the box for "USB debugging." (You may need to switch "Developer options" to on before you can do so.) On Android 4.2, tap Settings >> About Phone >> Developer Options >> and then tick USB debugging." Then tap OK to approve the setting change.

On Android 4.3 and later (including 5.0, though this might also be applicable to some versions of 4.2), tap Settings >> About Phone >> then scroll down to Build Number >> Tap it seven times, at which point you should see the message, "You are now a developer!"
