Let that politician who hasn't contributed to corruption and decay in Nigeria stand up. All of them are complicit including your incumbent and they know they can get away with anything because Nigerians will do nothing. Na siddon dey look or 'God will help us in this country' that's all the response you will get. Until we learn to demand good governance from our 'rulers' because let's face it they are not leaders , they only see themselves as lords over us nothing will change. |

A deep probe of who Saraki Mr. No. 3 is very important to us or whoever holds the position of Senate President! He should be thoroughly probed regardless of the party he belongs to and all our elected officials should thoroughly investigated. It should not be business as usual. We need to set our nation on a path where no one is truly above the law. We all know that Nigerian politicians don't resign unless they are disgraced . PDP or APC They are shameless and Great Looters. This is about a new Nigeria and I like it when Buhari bluntly told Saraki to go and defend himself. Am glad the federal government started the corruption war from within its own party APC. I really don't understand why PDP are now supporting him . when Saraki with 5 other Governors left PDP . PDP members celebrated their exit and called Saraki all sort of names and said he is very corrupt member and a rebel. What has changed and why are they protecting him now?. To wage war against corruption, all fighters must be clean. THE SENATE PRESIDENT / HEAD / CHIEF OF THE LAW MAKERS MUST be clean and law abiding citizen if he wants to remain in that seat. |

Eluwilussit:i wont say we are fools, but we have not stood up for ourselves, like a Political revolution....the youths are still busy flexing, chatting, f..king, fightin e-tribal wars, nd being touts for politicians... Check even the last election out of 170 million Nigerians, only 90 million or so registered for PVC, then less 30 million actually voted ...ie only abt 25-29% of the Nigerian population actually voted ...can u see we are not ready for good leadership ....pvc made election 'a bit' credible Yet many didn't still use that opportunity.... |

Nellybii:Rule of law must never be seen to be selective. Injustice is not only when the guilty is not punished, it is also when what counts as guilt is not seen to be across board. Your president still has question mark hanging on his affidavit. |

Re: Press Release: Senate Is Solidly Behind Senate President, Bukola Saraki by otr1(m): 8:33pm On Sep 22, 2015 |
I wonder if their support will stop his trial or acquit him. They are just mere senators. The only thing that will cost the President to remove him in their next sitting is........and the noise from wailers afterwards. This trial is just to make his removal a little decent and legal. If Saraki doesn't swallow his pride, the Tribunal will finish him off. We're talking about 3 straight days of trial. If he appeals, that's where he'll be nailed finally. Either way, he's doomed 2 Likes 1 Share |

Its seem Buhari is on a long thing here,he has started shutting villa against Saraki even when he is still the SP. Soon bills and confirmation of appointees of Buhari must be sent for screening and confirmation, except if he wana be dictatorial. As it's now Saraki is a necessary evil that must be condolled, else Buhari regime might not achieve much,if there's synergy with the red house. |

CSTR2:but remember he still control all the Armned forces. Nothing any senate can do even if all of them decamped tomorrow their corruption cases will be open and the CCT will sack all of them. Today's drama is just to show Saraki he is nobody. 2 Likes |

Realist2: Dogbara is smart so forget about synergy. Yes Saraki is a necessary evil but he would soon be history. PDP senators with skeletons in their cupboards will preserve themselves first, otherwise their book of remembrance would be opened like Saraki. Sai Baba is a hard but to crack. Real power lies with the executive. Saraki would soon be in jail where he truly belongs. 1 Like |

IFF HE FAILED TO APPEAR AT THE TRIBUNAL TODAY! Well, if Saraki and all you SaTANoids are not "vomit gulping DOGS",... Sraki should have kept to his promise and not attend the trial! im for hear "wehn" Its a good thing seeing the very pompous Saraki (I am No 3!) eating humble-pie, before an "ordinary Judge" Lastpage! |
