Kwarans have been taken for granted for too long. If this is the liberation they seek, they are not alone on this.

Kudos for standing up in the face of oppression. If all leaders know of a day like this - when the populi will damn the opulence and security paraphernalia and question their morality - then, leaders will sit up.

Congrats Kwarans.

Saraki is a mess in kwara, wack infrastructure and so, the man really milk the state treasury dry, go to offa and you'll see how their king and the indigene are doing things for theirself in times of school, infrastructural development and health care. the present governor ahmed fatai is the opposite, hes so daft and clueless hes saraki errand boy, go to my town elerinjare/ifelodun and you will think kwara did/haven't had a governor for the past 10years, SARAKI GOD GO PUNISH YOU !

OP your story reeks and it is not fish!

No picture of chaos.
No picture of stoning.
Inconsistencies in the story.(eg drama occurred at end of prayers in your report meanwhile it is middle of prayers in other reports)
Too much words and little detail concentrated around your "highlight".

The onus falls on you to provide a credible telling of your story else we call it exactly what it looks like - a poorly written fabrication from the cauldrons of the APC!

Nothing wrong with his telling of the story, the problem is with your capacity to comprehend

Can you imagine this happening in the church? Capital No.
The violent gods must be very happy with this happening.
What happened has nothing to do with lslam. People are fed up with Saraki and the puppets he installed in Kwara state because of non-payment of salaries (eg colleges of education staff are owed 7months, Lgcs are owed 2 months and have being on half pay for most of this year).

the Jumaah prayer were highered thugs.
They were placed in strategic locations and as soon as Saraki showed
up they swung into action.

Barka de sallah my Muslim friends. There is something I want non Kwarans including ilorin people to understand here. Am an indegen of kwara and I stay in Ilorin. I know and understand how we behave here expecially Ilorin people.
I believed Bukola Saraki was stoned at yidi this morning and Ilorin people can remember this is not the first time he was stoned. I can remember I heard people stoned Bukola Saraki and Gov Ahmed last year, months before presidential election. At the end of the stoning, do not be surprised that you will later see Ilorin people hailing and worshipping Bukola Saraki again. You will see them shouting up Saraki, Sai Maigida and all sot of praises to him. I don't always know how they settle their differences. But all I know is that Bukola Saraki changed their life so much. Most of the best office and political appointment in d state and federal level have been given to them through Saraki. People can find out to know if am right or wrong.
So I'm not surprised when I heard he was stoned at the prayer ground this morning.
I want people to know that Ilorin people is our major problem in Kwara. They have allowed Saraki dynasty to ruin kwara State

The stoning on Sallah day at the praying ground has become a norm.

I do say it that Ilorins are not happy with Bukola.
We have tried to transfer the love we have for his father to him, but it's just difficult.
He isn't really following his fathers steps.

He is a just a theif.
He has sold almost all we have.

The police and security would always avert a good lynch.

as we no get money to slaughter ram, na something in Agbada we for slaughter today, god purnish all those mopol and sss protecting the theif.

I want people to know that Ilorin people is our major problem in Kwara. They have allowed Saraki family to ruin kwara State. Ilorin have turned politics into religion. They appoint and elect leaders based on religion and ilorin factors. If you are not a Muslim or an Ilorin indegen, u can't be allowed to hold a better post. That was the reason Bukola Saraki turned himself to a Muslim just because he wanted to be Kwara state governor. He was born of Christian mother, Muslim no dey bear Bukola or Gbemisola Saraki. Oluwabukolami Saraki and Oluwagbemisola Saraki. They don't have permanent religion and permanent political party in their family. They can switch to any political party of their choice at any time. Fulani don't bears Bukola and he calls himself Bukola.
I believe people that stoned him today will shout up Saraki tomorrow.

Am not a fan of politics and i dont support any politicians because i believe they are all the same, likewise when it comes to religion, am very conservative and dont argue abt religion with people, i believe in freedom of religion.

It was by the grace of Almighty God witnessing another sallah on earth...being in ilorin this very moment afford me the opportunity to witness first hand how our suppose leaders have brainwash our political thinking with politics.

Am just in ilorin for some official engagement and as usual on every sallah day, we have to go to the eid ground for prayer and today was no exception.

I left with my guy as early as quarter to nine with the believe that prayer will be called at exactly 9am as i was used to in my area in Lagos but to my surprise when we got to gomola roundabout and everywhere was still free...my guy suggested we should stay around the junction as everywhere will be crowded soon but i decline saying we should get to the playing ground i even laugh it off that i will love to stay behind the imam to oversee all what will happen and listen to

we got to the eid ground and after looking for space, we got a space not too far to where the imam was and we can see the imam clearly, i mock my guy saying am enjoying d view instead of staying somewhere where i will just be listening to voice alone.

barely 20mins after we settled down, dat was about 20mins to 10am, we started hearing noice, most people were on their feet shouting and i started asking what was happening, somebody beside us said "maybe its saraki that arrived"....in other to do away with my curiousness, i stood up to peep and there it was, our senate president was the one that walked in...

everything was stand still from that moment and we couldnt hear any sermon again.....all we were hearing was side talk.....i guess after like 15mins of standstill and the imam couldnt help it again, all we heard was "sofullilahi" which signale that it was time for prayer.

We stood up and started praying but people were still making noise but by the time everywhere was silent that was when i started hearing some people shouting "ole" "ole"....."saraki ole"....everywhere was tensed that imam wanted to make mistake along the line during "rukuu" when he suppose to say "semi allahu limon amidahu (Only God knows who worship him)" and wanted to say "Allahu Akbar (Allah is great)"....but he corrected himself immediately.

The moment imam said "salam aleikum waramotullahi" signalling end of prayer, before those of us could respond to him, everywhere was scattered and people started scampering in different directions "ileya ooo" "e ma duro ooo (dont wait)" ....everybody around the place was running up and down finding the best available route outside the praying ground.....

some people started shouting "ole" "ole".....and started throwing stones....me and my guy had to hold ourselves and walk through a bush part to jump a fence outside the praying ground. I lost my slippers during d scuffle of trying to find my way out and had to walk barefooted to the main road.We could hear the agony of people on our way out saying "a ti gbon (we are wise)"....thief, they didnt pay our salary and they are enjoying with their families.....

from our observation, kwara people are tired of their livelihood, most of them are lamenting and some of them couldnt help it as they wanted to confront the police that were providing security at the praying ground saying they caused all this and were the one supporting the politicians...u dare not say anytyn positive about the government except u want to be lynched.

so my problem is, how do we get here? How did we get to a stage of mixing religion with politics that our prayers had to be standstill cos of arrival of the SP......how did we get to the situation of going to pray to God and wouldn't have peace of mind and be scared of something bad happening cos of politics and our politicians.

Definitely kwara/ilorin people at large are not happy with their leaders and politicians but should this be mixed with religion?

I have read from the OP.

There is no use discussing the art of comprehension with you since you obviously had no understanding of the post you quoted and others did.

Good for him, it seem these people are truly tied of Eba ati Semo.
Wait o! What did he go to do at Eid ground? Did he believe in God existence? I doubt it, he should'nt have gone there, prayer is for those who fear God.
Bukola Saraki is an heartless man, a wicked man who only concern with is family alone. He believe kwara to be his father's company.

His Manager Abdul Fathai Amed recently said that local Goverment like Isin, Oke-Ero and some would not be given Commissioner becouse they did not have much vote from them during election while Ilorin west would be given three Commissioners but during the annoucement of Election result they said they cleared all local Government. Help me ask him and his master the allocation coming to Kwara is it for certain LGA all for kwarans?
