OF RICE AND OTHER RELIEF MATERIALS TO
INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS AND TROOPS IN
THE NORTH-EAST:
The Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi, yesterday
donated some bags of rice and other essential relief
materials for the upkeep of the internally-displaced
persons(IDPs) in the North-East geopolitical zone of
the country.
Governor Umahi made the diclosure during a
courtsey visit to the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS),
General Gabriel Olonisakin.
The Governor, who also donated some items to
military troops in the area as a mark of his support in
their battle against Boko Haram insurgency, noted
that for the military to win the war against insurgency
in the North-East, it was imperative for all Nigerians
to give them( the military) their support and
encouragement.
Governor Umahi said that in addition to individual
and corporate supports, the military would also
require the general public to champion the campaign
of effective isolation of the terrorist elements in that
part of the country.
The Ebonyi State Governor also used the occasion to
commiserate with Chief of Defence Staff and families
of those gallant soldiers who paid supreme sacrifice
in defence of their fatherland.
In his response, the Chief of Defence Staff, thanked
Governor Umahi for his pledge, support and
encouragement, and assured him that the
presidential order to end the Boko Haram violence
before the end of the year was a task that must be
done, adding that the military had gone back to the
drawing board to actualize that mandate. (Afikpo

Not travelling can make people sound little below an 8 years old baby.

There is nothing wrong in being charitable but this coming from Ebonyi State is highly misplaced being the sore thumb of the South East region as they are the least developed. What has the Governor done for his own people who are renowned hawkers of handkerchief, singlet ludo, cards across Nigerian cities, no to talk of those young ones who should be in school but are part of those ones who are being hired as farm hands within other South eastern states.

Dave Umeahi please this is not why we elect you go back and collect those foods you donate before AMADIOHA strikes you death.

Ebonyi gov donating with pubic funds to people that have rejected the recommendations of the last national conference
Anambra gov donating to military with public funds when recently the same military illegally shot and killed Anambra citizens in Onitsha
Imo gov borrowing billions and owing salaries while campaigning for coupist from the north to rule the country
Abia gov sitting idle while inec office burns with potential evidence that he did not win his election and going to give tribute to Awolowo recently though the latter wanted to starve his parents
Enugu gov staying low
Delta Igbo gov staying low
Rivers gov hoping his election is not overturned
