President Muhammadu Buhari has left Nigeria for the United States to attend the 70th United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The President left with a 22-man delegation for the ten-hour-journey.

President Buhari is leaving just after celebrating the Eid in his home town in Daura.

The President is accompanied by the governors of Kaduna, Niger, and Cross River states.

Also joining the President are former governors, Kayode Fayemi and Rotimi Amaechi, and former member of the House of Reps, Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa.
