Adrianbuwan:U can send by courier, or a cheaper and faster way is to send the soft copy to anyone you know in Canada, and then they print, address and send to WES. Costs 3CAD,and it'll get to WES within in 3-4days. 2 Likes |

I have a reference letter that was written by my supervisor in August but got transferred to a new branch in September. Now, my appointment has been terminated and hr is not giving me the letter in the required format. Can I go ahead to use the first letter with my employment letter, payslips and LOE detailing my constraints.Note, I already completed over 3 years with the first letter |

Is it everybody that gets the has the minimum CRS score and above that receives ITA or it is those whose names are drawn from the pool as in Lotto? |

This is my opinion and it is obvious you did not realise it was a light-hearted way of expressing my opinion! Dnt be too sure that I do not have enough CRS score. I am on my second Msc and I decided to come to Canada as a sight-seeing experience! dupyshoo: |

There really is no need for a response like this. The guy has a B.Sc. in Anatomy and previous work experience. The idea was to use his medical degree as a second degree, but I do not know if he would be able to assess it without a license hence the question. I never mentioned having a degree in Physiotherapy. What I said was Physiology. Sorry for wasting your precious time. vcole: |

deltadeltadelta: For every draw there is a cut off score, diff cut off scores for diff draws. For any draw, everyone with the cut off score and above are given ITAs. |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by deltadeltadelta: 7:44am On Feb 11, 2017 |
See this link below, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/rounds.asp. Actually, not everybody gets an ITA in the draw even if they have a score equal to or above the minimum CRS SCORE. They select pple to apply and have a maximum number of ITAs that they issue each draw. temitope06: |

Good morning all, I received ITA and I am now filling my 10 years personal history. Please I need clarity on the following: 1. What do we class NYSC as? Educational activity or employment or government? Is it okay to class it as educational activity since I am not claiming points from it for employment? If it's an educational activity, I hope they wouldn't ask me to provide WES evaluation. 2. I did a bit of contract work at the tax office (civil service) which I am not claiming employment points for. Is it okay for me to class this as organisation since I don't know CIC's definition of government work? 3. What is the implication of having a period of unemployment in the history? Many thanks. |

Hello house I tried to go through the study visa route but my visa got denied.i have decided to go through express entry now. Can the refusal of study visa affect my chance of getting a Pr under under Express entry. please help with a response |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Adiahabasi: 8:51am On Feb 11, 2017 |
Ehrnie:1.NYSC is an employment, you don't have to claim points for all the jobs you've done. 2. No,just put it as another employment. 3.None whatsover, don't leave any gaps even if its 1month put unemployed for that period. 1 Like |

Adiahabasi: Thanks for your response. Much appreciated. If I put NYSC and the tax office work as employment, please will I be asked to provide references for both employment? I.e. Will I need to provide references for jobs listed under personal history? Reason i asked is because my NYSC was done with a small company and I don't have any documentation to prove this (we were even paid over the counter...so, no docs at all). For the tax office work, I have my employment letter, resignation letter and a few payslips Please note that I am not claiming points for both employment. |

Hello house.... I am new to this thread but not new to Nairaland. Wonderful work you all are doing here. My profile.... WES evaluation - October 2015 (process lasted about 2 months) Spouse's WES evaluation - September 2016 (process lasted 1 whole year, extremely enervating, some naija schools are just shit sha) IELTS Test - Jan 7, 2017 (Results out Jan 20, 2017) Me - LRSW 9,8.5,8,7 (I ran out of time in the writing section, felt so terrible); Spouse - LRSW 8,8.5,9,7.5 Express Entry Profile created - Jan 20, 2017 (no waste of time), CRS 466 ITA Received - Jan 25, 2017 I thought I had everything under control but just realized I need US police certificate because I have exceeded the 6month cumulative threshold since I started visiting the US 7 years ago. I have applied but I understand it will take 12-14 weeks. I am so angry because I never knew this requirement of 'cumulative stay beyond 6 months.' I had my UK police certificate before I even wrote my IELTS and thought I was covered. Has anyone received PPR with LOE and evidence of application for US police certificate? Secondly, I made a mistake in IELTS TRF number in my EE profile. Can that lead to a rejection with an LOE explaining that it was just a mistake? Thanks! 1 Like |

@Atlantic Immigration Pilot My people, in anticipation of this program which opens early next month, I would like us to "reason" it together I took of the sentence: "To apply, you need a job offer from a designated employer in an Atlantic province". This suggests that it is going to be an employer-driven program. Forum members who are based in the following provinces or have useful information should please tell us which occupations are in demand over there: New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/atlantic/index.asp |
