Hello ladies and gentlemen,

I have been reading through the forum for an answer but couldn't find one. Please anyone doing evaluation through IQAS, how did you make payment since we have a monthly $100 limit on our Nigeria cards.

Thanks

Hello Everyone

Please I need some help concerning my application for an Canadian express entry.
I submitted my profile on the 21st of sept 2016. The profile score is 426.
My job changed in November 2016 to a higher role.
I'm aware that I need a higher score to get an ITA but I don't know what to do now. Do I withdraw my application and reapply so that my current role can contribute to increasing my score, cos my understanding is that it's my experience as at the time of applying that counts. In summary I'm looking for ways to boost my score. I have a UK masters degree and a Nigerian Bsc. I was also a finance officer for 3 yrs, 1 yr customer service agent, 2 yrs was a credit controller/customer relationship manager. I'm now 5 months on my current job as the Head of customer service. My IELTS score is 8.

You can always update your profile anytime as long as you have not been extended an ITA. you may not need to cancel existing profile and reapply.

Sorry to tell you ma that increasing of CRS score does not have to do with your type of job. Your type or level does job does not affect your CRS score. Only the number of your years of experience counts. And the highest possible you could claim points for is three years. On the other hand, you can decide to re-write your IELTS exam to see how you can get more marks. Or if you're indicating your status as married, get your spouse to do evaluation and write IELTS as well.

Hello good people

Please does WES or IQAS assess NIM certificate and ILM certificate. I will like to know this to know if i can claim two or more certificate in the education level on the CRS.

Thanks for response on this

It should be possible. A number of people on this forum have reportedly done so.

This was recently addressed; you probably missed it. Use a dollar MasterCard or get someone abroad to make payment on your behalf using a credit card.

There is a portion for address in the online application form where they can send your results to. If you are in Lagos, you may pick up the result in their office.

Hello My Peep,

Does it count for anything in terms of more CRS points to evaluate ICAN and CIPM certificate? just wondering?

Thanks

Good day all,
I am new here and I must say thank you for all the knowledge being shared on this platform to assist one another.
I have read the first few pages to get a hang of all these.
I have registered for my IELTS, next: credential evaluation with WES.
Please, is there a lawyer in the house that has evaluated his or her credentials, if yes did you send both LLB & BL certificates for evaluation?

Regards

There is a lawyer on this forum who has been sharing her experiences. You may be better off with IQAS. Please read her posts for more information. See below;

If you have at least a BSc, you may not need to bother yourself with evaluating ICAN and CIPM. My wife had to abandon her ICAN assessment with WES. See a comment by G.arykasparov in the link below

Thanks for the insight, expecially at the bolded.

I also noticed that 1114 requires a bachelor degree while NOC 1212 is just fine with a lower qualification.

NOC 1114 looks like it smiley

Hello please is there a page on this thread that someone can point me to, that will provide a step-by-step instructions of how to apply for Express Entry process(in order). And answer to this points
1. Express entry costs (me, my spouse and 2 kids)
2. IELTS scores
3. IELTS type
4. IELTS cost
5. Any idea of Canada recruitment agent that can help with job offer
6. Expected fund to prepare for the immigration at the end.

I am a professional Graphic designer with years of experience, with just NCE and Bachelor degree.
I would have followed the graduate study path but seems it's beyond my budget.
I will appreciate all those who have successfully gotten their PR through this process to share their experiences and knowledge.

God bless you all
Thanks

From the way the points have been dropping, you should get an ITA soon with 426. You dnt need to withdraw your Profile. You should get an ITA in the next one or two draws. Just start gathering your documents and proof of funds. Your 3years of being a finance officer gives you the maximum point for that category and with a CLB 8 in your IELTS, that is also very good so just give it sometime.

She should be able to write her exams there since she would be there still when her results are ready. Be sure to advise her to write the General Training exam and not Academic.

A break down of your scores will enable one know if u need to rewrite. But an overall of 8 is fine. Other ways to garner points is from urr spouse'ielts or cert evaluation of a higher degree if married

No it's, Listening 8.5, Speaking:8.5, reading:7, Writing: 8
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by penitential(m): 6:50pm On Mar 16, 2017
Hmmmm..... an additional 0.5 in your reading will definitely do the magic with all other score remaining the same. But let's hope and pray the the points keep dropping before it goes back up. With that, you should get ITA in either next draw or the other.
